I wanted to produce a track that fits the summer vibe

ElPeche is a São Paulo born, London raised artist who’s influences range from the classics of Brazil’s Tropicalia movement such as Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, to the Northeastern Brazilian Alceu Valenca, through to European electronic music artists such as Nicola Cruz. He has been producing music for the past 4 years and has recently released a number of edits and originals both independently and through TTR. His first EP with TTR was “Calorzito - EP”. 

Rosas Bandidas is the second ElPeche release on TTR and brings the collaboration of Artéria FM with poetry and vocals. The track came together through an overseas production process, the vocals were recorded in São Paulo and came together with the production in London during the past months.

The Samburu are a Nilotic people of north-central Kenya. 
The Samburu dance is a part of a social ritual that goes back hundreds of years.  
It serves to bind and enrich the community. In larger more formal gatherings, dozens if not hundreds of the Samburu tribe of all ages take part, food is prepared and the festivities can go on for hours.
Young boys become men in group circumcision celebrations. Children, watching their elders, learn what it is to be Samburu. But on this night it’s a casual, impromptu affair. It’s a way to let off steam, spend time with friends. The Samburu version of hanging out.
