PURJ - SamuRai EP [Wile Out] Release Date: 29/03/19

After years of releases from all over the world, we are happy to announce our debut official Australian release by PURJ, a Melbourne producer currently based in Manhattan, New York.

PURJ brings his debut release the “SamuRai EP” which is a six track EP consisting of two originals “In Another World” & “SamuRai” with remixes by LUNY, Viniciti, Laces & Night Dives. The SamuRai EP is an exploration into an alternate world during the edo period, In this world we see technology and humans have evolved far beyond our comprehension. This is what it sounds like.  

Throughout the years, Purj has developed into an incredibly versatile producer with experience making genres such as Trap, Hiphop, Future Bass, Electro House, LoFi, and Japanese EDM. His early influences include Porter Robinson, Madeon, Wolfgang Gartner, Burial, Flume, Skrillex, The M Machine and Noisia. Now, he incorporates motifs which stem from his life experiences with both its peaks and shortcomings. Upon moving to New York to study communication design. Purj distinguished an international music collective named SLUMP. He has since further expanded his repertoire of production styles and built a network of likeminded creatives, inspired, and working vicariously off each others strengths. He hopes to continue developing himself as an artist both visually and aurally.
