Better late than never we feel...... as promised, here is part 2 of our buddy DJ Alex's stellar NYE set from the tail end of 2021. Recorded at a secret private party / Berlin location. To reiterate, Alex shouldn't really need an intro, but for the uninitiated he's one of London's finest DJs and selectors (now based in Berlin), a former Lucky Cloud / Loft sound-system crew member, and 1/3 of Voices Collective who alongside Cedric Woo and John Ramar held a long residency at Plastic People (RIP). He also has his own very dope 'Voices In My Head' radio show on Cashmere Radio (link below).

Alex is a proper music lover and this mix has it all, bonafide classics, deep house, disco, techy, dubby gear, reggae, soul steppers, island excursions and literally all points in between. Flawlessly selected, mixed and very generously shared with everyone here. These are perfect sonics for the coming weekend, dig it!

Chasing Sounds is my first full-length project — 15 tracks, 42 minutes of pure chaos stitched together in the middle of late nights, espresso highs, and “what happens if I push this button?” experiments. It’s a mix of trap, dubstep, future bass, lo-fi, and hardstyle — sometimes smooth, sometimes violent, always unpredictable.

This isn’t polished pop. It’s raw, messy, and alive. The sound of finding the groove by breaking all the rules. Mickey Mouse in Fantasia but with a DAW instead of a wand.

Play it loud. Play it weird. Play it when you need to wake the neighbors or haunt your own brain.
