Burial

Felix Manuel, also known as Djrum, crafts a profoundly innovative genre of electronic music. His unique sound draws inspiration from various club styles like techno, breaks, garage, and jungle, as well as his roots in jazz and classical music. His creations frequently take the form of extensive, multi-faceted compositions that resemble miniature soundtracks more than the conventional club tracks.

I aimed to curate a collection of his pieces, weaving them together to craft a continuous odyssey through his sonic landscapes.

Burial MIX

Dropping a very low stakes aural love letter to everyone’s favourite dubstep psychogeographer, Will Bevan aka Burial. Burial means a lot to me because he is from just round the corner in our corner of Saaaf Laandan, and cause his name is also Will. Sometimes I wonder if we have ever crossed paths going down the Wandle, or outside Southside or HMP Wandsworth, or even that one James Blake Boiler Room set where he smoked two spliffs in the front corner, and then I consider that this is very unlikely and that I was 13 at the time. No bad thing if we don’t cross paths though, if it means he stays cooking up the very finest and we listeners consequently stay winning.
