Los Angeles-based composer, pianist, and singer/songwriter Marcus Anthony Mack is a musical storyteller whose work dissolves boundaries between sound and emotion. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Marcus blends gospel, R&B, post-classical, and ambient influences into compositions that are both intimate and cinematic. His music, rich in melancholic beauty and minimalist production, creates space for deep reflection—an invitation to pause, listen, and feel.

Raised in the immersive musical environment of the Black church, Marcus developed a profound understanding of music as a conduit for connection and transcendence. The improvisational nature of those spaces shaped his ability to create spontaneously, evoke raw emotion, and underscore narratives with authenticity. Today, that same ethos guides his work, whether he’s scoring films, crafting soundscapes for luxury brands, or composing for high-concept commercials.

His credits include Tethered, a psychological thriller, Black Before Blue, a documentary on racial discrimination in law enforcement, and Gilead, his solo album exploring the contradictions of everyday life. Each project is an exploration of the human experience—stories told through sound, where every note serves a purpose and every silence holds weight.

As Marcus expands his collaborations with studios and brands, his mission remains clear: to create music that lingers, resonates, and transforms. Every tone, vibration, and texture in his work is meticulously crafted to leave a lasting emotional imprint, ensuring that his compositions are not just heard but deeply felt.
