(PUSHING). It is a project formed by a duo of DJs Brazilian electronic music lovers living in Ourimbah, SP / Araucaria, PR.
The Duo has as the strands genres, Tech House, Techno, Progressive House And, making a unique and totally elegant union between rhythms and infectious melodies on the track.






A 3 piece Indie|Rock Band from the Devon Area, With high energetic live performances and songs written to get anyone in the mood to dance and sing along, Crash Artists are all about making the music for the people :)


Dork Turnspit began in 2008 as a bedroom project of singer and guitarist, Marc Nellis. 5 demos were recorded and put up on Myspace, back when it still kind of worked, and nothing more was thought of them until early 2009 when a friend, Lee Dixon, showed a surprising interest in them and begged Marc to start a band using these songs. A highly skilled bassist, Lee was desperate not to play the instrument any more and thought he'd look infinitely more hip if he was on lead guitar and backing vocals. The more he begged the sterner Marc's resistance grew until one day, apropos of nothing, Marc relented and the two began working on some new tracks.

Come April, after many beer-fuelled writing sessions, the two had come up with an album's-worth of material and Lee's former bandmate, Rod Jameson, had been added to the line-up on drums and quips. The band had one rehearsal together sans bassist, Lee and Marc played one acoustic gig in Lancaster and then Marc inexplicably decided to "do one" and moved to Edinburgh. Given the geography and distinct lack of cash this made rehearsing highly improbable, if not impossible. Thus a year's hiatus ensued but Marc was still prolifically writing during this time and when he moved back to England had a whole two new songs to show for his time away - a total of 6 minutes and 51 seconds. 

Upon Marc's return the band tried out several bassists but for myriad reasons none stuck. A strong desire to play live meant Marc decided to demote himself and play bass instead and the band played a few gigs from June 2012 in this guise. Thankfully somebody eventually came forward and said they'd like to play bass with us. This somebody was musical bigamist Darren Leadsom. The line-up complete, the full sound that was envisaged 3 years previous was finally realised.

The band made a DIY CD of 10 demos in 2013 and blagged a (very) mini-tour of Scotland that summer. A full album recording is in the pipeline.

We are a Helsinki-based electro duo that was setup to discover and experience the qualities of electronic music. After composing and performing music in various groups for over 15 years, we owed ourselves the chance to try something that has always been close to our hearts.

The change was driven by seeing what music can be when it becomes too serious - it loses colours from its spectrum. We decided to give our guitars some time to rest and turned our efforts towards finding the missing wavelengths from the endless arrays of electronic sounds. 

This is our luminiferous experiment.
