Welcoming in our podcast series the creator of the events Art Bei Ton and Ambient Sleepers, Hypnotic Black Magic, a Berlin-based DJ inspired by dark/deep/hypnotic techno, atmospheric ambient and ritualistic drums.

A core member of the Harmony Rec. crew, Yan has been digging for deeper and dubby techno since 2014 and has become one of the finest in his craft. Together with his closest pal Alfred Czital he is a resident of the Yuggadus night – the sort of an extension of the sound and activities they are devoted to with Harmony. Whether he draws from organic techno, rich minimal or let’s his housy side speak, his emphasis on the groove earned him a steady supply of peak time bookings and growing number of international invites. Yan’s secret power lies in closing sets, he’s able to make endings feel like new beginnings.

Elle is an Italian producer, characterized by a tribal and minimalist output.

His music is a mixture of his influences, centered on textured and hypnotic rhythms that transport the listener to another dimension, starting from deep techno to move freely between different subgenres.

He is endowed with an eclectic style dedicated to the creation of sound journeys with particular attention to live improvisation. He has released music on Hypnus Records, Annulled Music and other underground label. Recently founded his own ELLE label, focused only on recorded live tracks.

Vrika is the moniker under the Spanish producer Fernando Blanco. His music is a mixture of hypnotic rhythms, ambient soundscapes and organic textures, with a tribal output. Starting from techno and move to freely different subgenres. He has released music on Doppt Zykler and other underground labels. Recently founded the project RVD alongside Discknoked and Randoom, focused on slow techno and live improvisations.

Daniel[i] has been immersing himself in recent times as a talented producer, with a style of techno that blends atmospheric sounds with deep, danceable yet meditative grooves. He himself explains what the project stands for as: ”Daniel[i] represents two aspects of my music production: a repetitive side and a meditative side. I want to mix both concepts as they are really close to each other. Giving it a kind of third sense, the hypnotic part is nothing else than the result of a natural symbiosis.”
The German-based artist with Italian and Belgian roots has also started a label a few months called Whispering Signals, with the first EP carrying reworks by Wa Wu We, Feral and Illuvia.

Adelia _I started discovering techno and djing in 2015. The time at the beginning was full of dark and experimental techno. In two years I found the best way for me in deep and hypnotic vibes. It gave me the opportunity to play many nights  in the legendary Cross club in Prague, many cities around Slovakia and also Budapest. I love certain harmony between tracks that create feeling from another dimension but time to time with a little bit dark flavour. Currently  my life in another country  gives me inspiration in nature. Calm in the forest, energy from mountains, deepness in  the sea, warm colours from the sunset.

Vicky Zissou has been capturing hearts, minds and dancing feet with her richly organic, eclectic sound over recent years, flitting between atmospheric, dubby, acid and raw industrial vibrations in a way that oozes with class and ensures your attention never wavers.

Her dark-layered hypnotic techno sets come with electric intensity, a shimmer of light and ease, and a drop of emotion, the continuously shifting grooves locking you in in a continuous, trippy, hypnotic haze.
When she’s not gigging in Sweden and Berlin alongside the likes of Abdulla Rashim, Dorisburg, Evigt Mörker, Sebastian Mullaert and Fjäder, she’s working on her own tracks and collaborations, including the ‘Matilda’ project alongside Hampus Bogren – a genderless project challenging people’s preconceptions and mental images, with a sound marked by modular synthesizers, complex patches, atmospheric / experimental sounds, and driving rhythmic percussions.
