Juicebox Music welcomes Scippo back on the imprint for our 59th release with a 2-track EP featuring "Sticky Lips" and "Sense". Currently based in Barcelona (Spain), the Argentinian-born artist first appeared on the label through our 'Tales of Time - Chapter 2' compilation with a a beautiful synth-ridden electronica piece - "Fortezza". Scippo made his mark in the industry through his initial productions back in 2019 that were featured on Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat' and Nick Warren's 'Balance' compilation, followed by anthemic EPs on Nick's 'Hope Recordings' + DJ Samer's 'Pangea Recordings'.

Scippo now presents his latest offering with "Sticky Lips" and "Sense", which sees him stepping outside the comfort-zone to explore a completely new sound for himself. Non-linear arrangements, experimental sound-design and sonic influences from multiple genres are the main key elements that are shared between the two tracks, with "Sticky Lips" aiming for the big dancefloor moments and "Sense" gunning for the more quirky and hypnotic darker rooms.

Avenue Red proudly welcomes the debut podcast episode from DJ/artist and label boss Rai Scott from Edinburgh, Scotland. Rai is one half of 2DeepSoul together with her partner in life and music, Brad Peterson - a fellow deep head and master craftsman who did Podcast number 021 for us 8 years ago! Together they run the excellent labels Inner Shift Music and Common Dreams.

As well as releasing on their own imprints the duo have their music unleashed across a fine array of respected underground labels including Ornate Music; Echocentric Records; Church; Minuendo Recordings; Andy Vaz's label, Yore Records; Altered Moods Recordings; and most recently Rai created the opening release of Avenue Red resident selector Caillou's new upcoming label, Chateau Chepere.

For her instalment of the BIG 200 Rai has created a CD-length vinyl mix of raw, soulful, jazzy, deep, groovy house music with some eclectic, eyebrow-raising twists at the finale. Here we have such a truly sublime, tasteful and classy selection mixed with a wonderfully organic touch. We expected nothing less.

Nexus Artist Management (Formerly "Flex Productions" the O.G. promoters from "Flex Records" crew), founded in 2001 by Promoters & DJ's Justin R.E.M. and Chris Pattison.
