When Madah Sounds suggested the term "Fringe Dub Techno," I started to explore where I could take the concept. I've always loved the sound of dub techno, so I applied various production techniques to different moods and styles. "Layers of Noise" is an experiment in its own right, utilizing a mix of field recordings, delay, feedback, reverb, and analogue hardware synthesis.

This music serves as a form of resistance in a harsh world. I often find myself in contrast to a world overwhelmed by excess and information overload. It acts as a commentary on reading between the lines, finding nuance, and extracting value from the many layers of noise.

Embracing the term "Fringe Dub Techno" as a source of creativity, this EP explores the darker edges of the genre, pushing its boundaries through experimental textures and raw sonic exploration. Titled "Layers of Noise," the project combines field recordings with analogue hardware synthesis, creating soundscapes that feature cascading delays, deep reverb, and unstable feedback. Each track critiques modern excess, offering a subtle form of resistance—inviting listeners to navigate the chaos, find clarity in the nuances, and reclaim meaning from the static. In this way, dub techno becomes both a refuge and a form of rebellion, highlighting the quiet power of subtlety in a world overwhelmed by noise.

It all started with a pitchable tape recorder. 
I made mixtapes for different people from my former circle of friends.
In 1994, once a month, I started making music in a youth club with CD's.

That pleased the people very much. In 1996 I started to buy vinyl in Hardwax. My favorite genre was rave, trance and especially techno. My friends and I practiced diligently at home, at the beginning I also used normal record players. Later, we bought replicas and blenders. At the same time I came across the genre Goatrance by chance. Unfortunately I did not know then that it was called that way. Of course I searched very intensively for Vinyl of this Gernres. More or less coincidentally, I succeeded. My first album was by T.I.P. Records, the album is called Phosphorescent. These records are dear to my heart. I still like to hear these songs today! For many years, I diligently continued collecting. In 2005, I was invited by the Goapunxx since we go so many ways together now I am Resident Dj at the Gaggalacka, Zappelkiste and especially in the Dresdner Club SektorEvolution.
My very favorite genres I use are Techno, Darktechno, Progressive Trance, Psytrance, FullOn, Twiglight, Forest and Darkpsy.
Meanwhile, I arrange my music hybrid. That means with the help of sound card and controller. You can do much more with the music in less time than you would have done a few years ago. of course I would rather have all my tracks on vinyl. However, most of it does not exist on vinyl.

Now based in Tucson, Arizona, he currently hosts his weekly mix show, “Beyond the Groove” on 99.1 FM KTDT Downtown Radio, which showcases live mixes of progressive electronic music from all over the world.
