Radio Benska is a show focused on Eastern Europe and the US Midwest. It operates at the peripheries of cultural power, celebrating artist who survive their environments.

"I primarily consider myself as an event organizer, and then a DJ.
I rarely accept DJ booking requests, since I enjoy "working" as an event organizer and promoting my favorite DJs and producers. Five years ago I started the unbalanced collective that promotes multi-genre electronic music. NO BALANCE is a series of club events with the idea of experimenting with genre through the course of one evening. So far, we hosted several different artists such as Privacy, Spoiled Drama, Fabrice Lig, M.O.O.N, Dual Shaman, X-Coast... as well as other interesting names hailing from the region.

Because I've been infatuated with hip hop for many years, I also organize events that emphasize this sound - named SevenUp. 

Usually, I describe my (club) sound as a combination of grime and techno, filled with unexpected Breakbeat moments. This podcast, however, is a bit chilled version of that combination, created mostly for home listening. This short, yet (I hope) effective mix contains tracks of Ytem, Evaa, Bwwwoys, La Vie C'est Facile, etc. Enjoy!"

Broken Britain Cassettes (https://soundcloud.com/brokenbritaincassettes) present Tape 313, two new works by musician, broadcaster and sound artist Orlando Harrison. Reworkings of long thought lost audio tapes obtained on the premises of Senate House*, Tape 313 interrogates two dissident voices, uncovering hidden meaning and deciphering coded messages.

Stammheim Prison, 1975 — Gudrun Ensslin outlines the political position of the Red Army Faction, eighteen months before her alleged suicide, her voice a ghost in the machinery of the german state. The perpetual revolution of helicopter rotors over the prison house echo the grinding of the wheels of justice below, and the relentless rotation of the swastika at its heart.

Trafalgar Square, 1956 — Nye Bevan delivers a speech attacking Sir Antony Eden’s Conservative government following the seizure of the Suez Canal. Twenty thousand people hear Bevan speak, after which a crowd marches on Downing street. Harrison’s deconstructions transform Bevan’s words into air-borne weapons, soaring over the equestrian bronzes of Nelson’s Column, drowning out the death rattle of the British Empire.

Thought criminal Orlando Harrison is currently serving a life sentence with the Alabama 3. His past collaborators include Stephen Thrower of Coil, Red Crayola, the Amal Gamal Ensemble, Dr Miasma and the Carousel of Headless Horses, Guapo, and The Daughters of God. He produces and presents the The Wrong Show on Resonance 104.4 FM, and once starred in an advert for Fruit Pastilles.

*Senate House, London — former headquarters of the Ministry of Information, wellspring of British wartime propaganda, model for Orwell’s Ministry of Truth and Greene’s Ministry of Fear, earmarked by Hitler to become Nazi Headquarters after WWII.

Hello.

As all of you will be aware the COVID-19 outbreak has effected the lives
of many of us across numerous professions and areas of society. The
entertainment industry is one sector which has been greatly impacted by
the outbreak. I'm now in a situation where all my upcoming shows have
been cancelled & there is still a lot of uncertainty if and when anything
will be rescheduled.

In response to this I've compiled a 10 track LP entitled 'Deleted Cache',
a selection of unreleased tracks from the last 10 years dredged from the
depths of my HDD. This release includes unused album tracks
(inc. an alternate version of 'Android' from my 2018 'Hollow Body' LP)
and some files which were recovered from a permadeath'd laptop.

I understand that many of you are in the same situation as me and are
facing financial difficulties so I've set the minimum price for the whole LP
at £1. If you're in a position to contribute a little more that would be
greatly appreciated but any contribution is really welcome at this time.
Bandcamp are waiving their revenue share on sales for Friday the 20th
of March so this is a perfect time to support artists who are currently
struggling.

STROMA is the audio-visual work of the MYK art group members Polina Kardymon and Vladimir Bocharov (presidiomodelo) on the search for connective tissue in the interaction of two separate subjects. An attempt to find the equivalent of physical communication outside of physicality and gender through mediums of the analog and digital technologies.
