The Dancers at the End of Time

An amalgam of small-town pathos, dirtbag sensibilities, and largely neglected conventional vocal training, Saint Mountain melds the energy of DIY garage and punk with something a little more nuanced,  heralding back to a time when punk was more of an ethos than a defined genre. You can hear the influence of early Modest Mouse, and Toronto indie-punks PUP as Eli Bukowski's sparse, image-laden lyrics are frenetically shouted, punctuated by rousing gang choruses over Kyran Cunningham's swirling guitar vortexes, and backed up by the driving rhythm section of Tyler James on bass, and Bryce Harrison on drums. 
Heralding from the small mountain town of Nelson BC, Saint Mountain has managed to share stages with bands such as Preoccupations, In The Whale, and B.A. Johnston in their barely year-long run, and are fresh off recording their debut EP.
