自身が運営するレーベル"Ninja Columbo"と"Samurai Brylkreem"からリリースされていた現在は入手不可能となっている音源を多数収録！
The Teknoistの10年以上に渡る活動とUKのハードコア・シーンの歴史を体感出来る1枚！

「ニンジャ」に「サムライ」と、オールドスクールな誤解された日本を意識したタイトルがまず最高。単にレーベル名のアタマを取ったのでしょうが。そもそも「誤解された日本」を好むアーティストはハードコア界には多いですね。それに「ゾンビ」。
ケミカルテイストなジャンク・フードに安酒で夜中にこれを聴きながらヘドバンしてる若者達（ちょいナードな）が目に浮かばせるところが何とも素敵。さすがジェントルの国イギリス産！ってちょい違う気が...。
確かにTEKNOISTの曲には敷居の高 いエレクトロニカの要素もミックスされているのですが、それをナードに落とし込むスキルとセンスがビシバシ感じられます。あ、イイ人なんだろうな〜と思わせるのがジェントル云々の所以です。

ヴォイス・サンプル、シンセ・ストリングスの多用が映画オタクです！というのが滲み出ているのも好感が持てますな。⑤の何かのヒップホップ？からかっぱらったと思われるネタ”Bang your head !"はアレク・エンパイア師匠もソロ名義の曲で使ってますが、元ネタが知りたいところ！
ヒップホップとハードコアと言えばHellfishですが（常識！）、まずキャリアのスタートは彼に認められ名門”DEATHCHANT”から03年に第一発目のシングルを発表。翌年には自身の"NINJA COLUMBO"をブチ上げ、自分の作品や、DOLPHIN、SCHEME BOYなどもリリース。
ターニング・ポイントは06年にはエレクロトニック・ミュージックシーンの代表的なレーベルである"Planet-Mu"からのシングル・リリース。　今や一人勝ち状態のプラミューからもリリースしていたんですね。10年経った現在では信じられませんが、電子音楽のバブル期でしたね。

⑥はストリーミングの海賊ラジオをDAWにブチ込んだらバグってPCが勝手に作曲してしまった！というナード極まり無いスタイル！こういうのがハードコア〜電子音楽の楽しさの頂点に近い気がしますねえ。実に良い。スキルの高さを冗談混じりに魅せるTEKNOISTの世界に酔いしれてしまいます。

そのハイ・スキルとセンスに裏付けされたTEKNOISTの楽曲群は安定感が約束されています。ですが、次に何が飛び出すか予測がつかないのも事実。

ネクスト・ステージに連れて行ってくれる事を願いつつ、まずは、このベスト盤で彼を讃えましょう！
ハードコア・テクノって何？な方にもこれは自信を持ってオススメできる事を最後に付け加えます！
