There is a Japanese term: Mono no aware. It means basically, the sad beauty of seeing time pass - the aching awareness of impermanence. These are the days that we will return to one day in the future only in memories. How do we capture them? How could we possibly be able to fully appreciate them in the present? This project is our attempt to put time under glass.

The Midnight is a marriage between a songwriter from the Deep South and a producer from Denmark who both live in Los Angeles. This is our love song to our city and a testament to the weight these years can hold.

Films is a dark fantasy music unit formed by Anoice, an instrumental music band featuring dark cinematic sounds, with two female vocalists who sing in their own originally created languages. They make creative and beautiful music using the classical sounds of piano and stringed instruments, often blending them with electric, destructive rhythms.

Films debuted by releasing their first album 'Messenger' on Noble Label in 2010. In 2013, Films released their second album 'a forbidden garden' on Ricco Label, and received much praise from Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for the Final Fantasy series. This album was also included in the trilogy that has a 'memories' theme together with Anoice's fourth album 'into the shadows' and the third album 'Gift' from Yuki Murata who is a member of Anoice.

After the successes of the Europe tour and the first live performance in Japan held at Saitama Super Arena which gathered 10,000 people in 2016, Films began the new project 'mizu amane' featuring the lyrics sung with Japanese archaic languages which are no longer spoken, and released five singles up until now. Also, in November 2016, Films released their third album, 'signs from the past', featuring Calu who is the vocalist of Matryoshka.

Films went to Hong-Kong, China tour with Anoice, and then, released the 4th album 'at the deep end' in 2023. This album contains beautiful and quiet songs which were used as inserted song on a movie 'Girls on Film' directed by Robin Bain in US, and also another song premiered at the stage of ASIA BEAUTY EXPO 2022, one of the biggest beauty salon business events in Asia.

Firewoodisland is the alias of Bristol based Norwegian/Welsh multi-instrumentalists and songwriters Stian Vedøy and Abi Eleri. Their emotive and dynamic vocal harmonies together with the morphing of organic and digital instruments, creates an atmospheric soundscape that is moving yet striking.

Pavey Ark are a cinematic indie folk band from Yorkshire in the UK. Atmospheric vocals, strings and horns glide over finger-picked guitar, melodic bass and complex percussion. The result is a beautiful orchestral-folk sound that evades immediate comparison. Upon further listening, the band’s wide range of influences start to reveal themselves – from the laid back ’60s and ’70s sound of Jackson C. Frank and Love, through to Nick Drake and Radiohead. Known for their sublime live shows, Pavey Ark are showcasing at SXSW 2025 in Texas and played the Glastonbury Acoustic Stage in 2022 – huge achievements for an independent act. Close Your Eyes and Think of Nothing received excellent reviews from UNCUT, Record Collector, Folk Radio and BBC Radio 6 Music airplay. It was chosen by the BBC as one of their picks for National Album Day in 2022. Their second album, More Time, More Speed, is due for release in spring 2025.
