Presenting their second release of the year, Astral Records welcomes Vincenzo Sarti and Alessio Pennati to the label for their debut EP. Based in Italy, Vincenzo and Alessio have enjoyed success in their respective solo careers. The duo's combined discography is highlighted by releases via Awen Records, Three Hands Records, Uxoa Dutxa Elite and Wout Records. With a penchant for contemporary techno and astral sonics, Vincenzo and Alessio now make their Astral Records debut, presenting their first collaborative project entitled 'People From Another World'.

Beginning with the title selection, Vincenzo and Alessio craft a deep and cosmic progressive techno hybrid. Anchored by a punchy groove, shapeshifting atmospheres and sizzling rhythms, it's mysterious yet inviting from the outset. Evolving with a veteran's flair, astral effects and striking sonics create a compelling narrative leading into the main break. Scintillating arps and ominous overlays highlight the centrepiece, adding a prophetic vibe, while tastefully tense modulation and a wave of drums initiate a cavernous drop and rumbling finale.

Marking their 17th release, Terranova Records shine a light on a very special track from their journey thus far. Previously received with welcome arms was the dynamite "U:ICHI - Falling In Silence", so it only seems fitting that the label have prepared a stellar remix package right in time for summer.

The four track EP sees remixes from label founder, Axel Valley, label regular Sam Welt, Italian new talent Technicolor, and acclaimed producer Maicol MP. A selection of remixes that capture the eclectic essence of the Terranova label, and the intelligent sound they always present.

First up is label boss, Axel Valley. His interpretation is a pensive quest of mystery, huge drums at the helm of the track pushing forward through a dynamic selection of synths and pads. Maintaining the curious theme is the almost seven minute Sam Welt remix, the simmering tones creating a sense of urgency that never really lets up, continuously evolving in an enchanting manner.

The Technicolor remix is certainly on a more stripped back tip, the minimalistic approach bringing a whole new dynamic to the release. Last of all is the hypnotic Maicol MP remix, intelligently arranged broken drums landing every time with great effect as mechanical beeps and bleeps work their way around them. A track for the hazy mornings, tempting people's minds to wander.

Asper (IT) is a new talent in the electronic music industry who is quickly making a name for himself. With a unique blend of melodic beats and atmospheric soundscapes, Asper's music is both mesmerizing and uplifting.

Since 2018 is a member of the Treviso-based Acrylic Music Studio in Italy, which they co-founded with Maicol MP and Technicolor. Asper also holds residencies at Soundlab Club, a hotspot for emerging musical talent both locally and internationally.

With the release of his debut production, the captivating track "Morph", Asper showcases his skill in creating rich textures and enticing synth lines, building anticipation with floating melodies and jaw-dropping vocal samples here and there. The track's powerful breakdown is sure to impress DJs and audiences alike and a great tool to burn the dancefloor at peak time.

After another special year for Terranova Records, we can't wait to share more music and exciting events with you in 2023.

Introducing our 2023 Summer release crafted by Romanian DJ/Producer Himbrecht, welcoming him back to the label with 4 original gems highlighting his deep and melodic roots.
Tainted: A dark ambient aura displays an emotive intro followed by angelic vocals and chants, all complemented by a subtle dynamic percussion and organic sounds.
All I Need: Different layers of Synth evolutions flirt with eerie sounds and a steady breakbeat, chants go back and forth intertwined with delightful arpeggios.
Biggest Hurt: Himbrecht's signature deep and dark bassline kicks the track off, inviting organic sounds and tasteful strings to join the track's core. Sonic-pulse sounds push and pull the track's core back and forth.
None Better: A slow synth progression builds up the track's walls and paints the view with deep percussions, distorted synths, and tripped-out keys provoking and evoking the night into your senses.

Just a little more than a year has passed since the release of Jil Tanner's legendary "Toxic People". Now the Berlin- and Leipzig-based rising star is back on our label with a progressive and dreamy original tune called "Alright" - both available featuring her unique, self-recorded vocals and as an instrumental. Next to the mesmerizing original the release features two remixes. First off is our label friend Bianka Banks with a straight-forward underground interpretation that stays true to the progressive groove of the original but increases the energy and adds a good sprinkle of rave feeling. The dream team Colin Levis and Bäggy round up the release with a solid Melodic Techno take with special emphasis on a few added synths that perfectly compliment the melodic groove of the original.

Finnish DJ and producer Otto Yliperttula (aka Yotto) caught our imaginations alight with his stellar debut album ‘Hyperfall’ last September, charting as a No. 1 Dance/Electronic album on Billboard and earning support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Eric Prydz, and many other heavyweights in the dance world. The next chapter sees an acclaimed host of producers add their own sound to the ‘Hyperfall’ story.

‘Hear Me Out’ receives separate remixes from Mobilee Records head Anja Schneider and Berlin producer Kevin de Vries to open proceedings. Schneider incorporates the sublime vocals of Laudic to full effect over a driving bass groove, whilst De Vries’s adapts the original’s bright melodies to his characteristic techno style.

German artists Monkey Safari and Ruede Hagelstein build on Yotto’s original brooding arrangement for ‘Turn It Around’ in contrasting fashions; Monkey Safari adding a trademark sunshine sheen of bubbly arpeggios, while Ruede Hagelstein’s ‘Rise Again’ remix places mechanised vocoders atop a menacing bassline.

‘Kantsu’ receives a minimal reinterpretation from Parisian electro artist Chloé, while SØNIN captures the understated euphoria of ‘The One You Left Behind’ through an inventive club re-work.
