Ricardo aka @Mrtnzzz, started collecting music and spinning records when he was 15. Since then, he’s been deeply involved in the spanish electronic music scene, contributing to various collectives and projects in Andalucía and Madrid. Nowadays he’s based in Berlin, where he hosts a monthly show on the community radio station RBL, focusing on ambient and downtempo sounds.

When it comes to the dancefloor, Ricardo has a bias towards house and trance-inspired records, always with groove as the centerpiece.

This mix is an excerpt from his set at Jaleo Real, played from 4 PM to 6 PM on Saturday. It was an evening full of good vibes, friends, smiles, Bloody Marys, and plenty of wind to challenge the needles.

His tracks and mixes are a blend of summery, dreamy synths, house rhythms and old school vocals. He has released on diﬀerent labels around the world, such as Personal Belongings, Y4 Collective and M-Sol Records to name a few. This mix is a blend of acid and cosmic sounds that are commonly found in his live performances, as well as two unreleased tracks of his that will be out in the new year on his own label ‘Retrofracted Records’.
