Bob Marley took his last breath in May of 1981, so it’s been 40 years since his passing. As a tribute, we just released our 4th album named “400.” This nineteen-track collection includes jazzy versions of some of Marley’s hits (Stir It Up, Redemption Song, e.g.) and a few lesser-known gems (Natural Mystic, High Tide Or Low Tide). Since the same conflicts that galvanized him still exist, we all need a reminder of his healing messages of Love, Unity, and Freedom.

Acute Inflections will release their fifth album on November 11th, 2022. The powerful title track, “Let Go,” was recently featured on NPR, and the collection includes their soulful takes on uplifting songs from a wide range of artists, including Ella Fitzgerald, Sam Cooke, and Andra Day. The album is inspired by their fans’ requests during their popular online pandemic concerts.

Acute Inflections, NYC’s latest contribution to jazz, is a chic duo of singer Elasea Douglas and bassist Sadiki Pierre. They started performing together in 2013 and their intoxicating, sultry and funky sound has made them beloved by the high-end private event community.
