Sam Morris Aka NY, was born on January 23, 1996 in Decatur Illinois and shorty after he moved to New York. There he spent his early childhood years before moving on to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is where he took on expressing his childhood life experiences through his music. Music became his major outlet for the cards life had dealt him. He has seen and lived on both sides of the track, having everything and having nothing. Through his music you will feel the pain, hardships and ongoing reminders of being born into a world where at anytime life can change tracks. Through a bumpy path Sam decided he wanted more than what the world expected him to be. Sam is reaching that goal through music instead of being just another statistic.
