Monsters Between Us

"Heart of Darkness" is a track that immerses the listener in an epic and haunting sound landscape. The piece opens with pulsing frequencies, creating a deep backdrop onto which dark and misty ambient textures are layered. As the track progresses, syncopated and subtle percussive elements emerge, adding a sense of urgency and unexpected movement. Ethereal vocal fragments make their way through the mix, treated with reverb and other effects that render them nearly unrecognizable, almost like echoes of distant or forgotten presences. Ambient sounds, such as wind and urban echo, contribute to building an atmosphere that is both alienating and captivating. As the track approaches its climax, the melodies intensify, using detuned synthesizers and submerged vocals to evoke a sense of despair mixed with beauty. The outro slowly fades away, leaving behind an echo of solitude and reflection, inviting the listener to return and discover new details hidden within the fabric of the music.

Heart of Darkness

Ascension is a track that wraps the listener in a sensual and mysterious sonic embrace, guiding them through a landscape of hidden emotions. It opens with a deep breath, almost a whisper emerging from nowhere, followed by an ethereal voice that gently weaves into the mix, like a forbidden call from beyond the veil.
The voice, treated with reverb and delay, remains indistinct, but its presence is hypnotic, a distant echo whispering words never spoken. It accompanies the track's ascent, blending with melancholic melodies and synthetic textures that evoke a suspended tension.
The percussion emerges discreetly, beating like a secret heart as the voice continues to float, seductive and intangible. The climax arrives with a crescendo of dissonant harmonies, as the voice dissolves into one last, magnetic whisper, leaving the listener with the sensation of having heard a secret they were never meant to know.

“Sliced Reflections” is a new EP album by Tetarise and Microcosmos Records.

The project of Eugene Dolgikh from Kursk (Russia) called Tetarise started in 2008; it produces music in different genres such as trance (melodic, progressive, psychedelic), ambient, and chill-out. In 2013 Tetarise took part in the popular weekly radio show A State of Trance hosted by Armin van Buuren; in 2018 its album “Drifting and dreaming” was released on Microcosmos Records.

Music by Tetarise is full of warm tonalities pouring at listeners with its melodic bass lines, lilting techno rhymes and airy guitar chords.

The gentle sound of “Sliced Reflections” takes to a smooth musical journey to the future through the flow of present with tiny gleams of past… The basis of experience together with new experiments are put into a balanced musical interlacement that gives a pure pleasure to fans of chillout.
