Part I: Introduction "Tapestry"
I imagine moving pictures passing by, as if I am living the last hours, days of my life.  I know this sounds morbid, but it's not.  It's more about how the complex feelings we hold most dear during happy and sad times never leave us. It is the true picture of us and what it is to be alive.

Dedicated to some folks in my life who've picked me up along the way, especially through music...

This is one I'm pretty proud of.  Oddly, it's the first time I’ve written a full original song with me singing my own lyrics. I'm joined by the uber talented @TexMex-Shaman, who is wielding the lead electric guitar starting at the first verse through to the end. (this is the second time now where my vocal melody is partly inspired by his magical playing!) He also lends his mastering skillz to great effect here. Thanks TMS for truly bringing this to life with your playing! 
All other instruments are played by me on the keyboard - acoustic guitar, bass, organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, 2nd electric guitar (the higher one in verse 2), horns, drums & percussion, words and voice. The chorus is supposed to sound like a 60's soul song, like Marvin Gaye meets Van Morrison. If you play this more than once I'm sorry but I'm afraid you'll be stuck with it in your head all day.  :)

This one's a personal one for me, so thanks for listening, and for picking us up with your music!

Although this was written as a Violin Concerto,
I thought I would try to blend some other instruments together
to make it sound a little bit like a music box, or an old timey Polyphon:

In the process as I neared completion, 
I occasionally found that, after I had done a SAVE
I then realized that I had DELETED a whole track.
So, by the time I had finished making this,
I had wished I had selected something else besides the mallets.
They were beginning to take their toll on my eardrums.

ALSO: When I was in high school, I bought a little book of Bach's 2 Part Inventions that also included the Brandenburg Concertos. I transcribed this particular tune as a piano piece. This one I played well over a thousand times and probably only got through it twice without making a mistake. As such, my mom estimates that number to be much more...poor thing.

Addendum:
I had just posted this on SC when I played it for my mom.
She passed away within a couple of weeks after that,
but she was never one to go on about these soundtracks I would make.
On this particular one though, for the first time ever,
she said, "Turn it up a little bit."

Now coming from her, that was high praise.

Actually I am a piano-musician by profession, but I discovered the huge possibilities of music designing with a computer.
