And now dance floors will be pushed to new heights thanks to Joris's fresh and dynamic Little Late remix.

Switching out the gossamer synths and somnambulant sheen of the original for a much darker palette and heavier, focussed, groove it's a whole new animal that's entirely built up around this mighty high voltage drop where Karl Hyde's vocal sizzles through with absolute authority.

A great extension of the 'Too Little Too Late' story and a perfect timed update as we transition from festivals back to clubs. It's never too late for moments like this.

‘WANNA GO BANG’ is my take on Chicago Ghettohouse legend DJ Deeon’s classic vocoder vocal sample (from his 1992 song “2 B Free”, but it’s pitched down 5 semitones now which gives it such a dark vibe). I’ve always wanted to make my own DJ weapon version of it since I heard Bjarki’s trippy version in 2015, and I’m really happy with how it turned out, it’s such a monster! 😎🔥

“LOKOMOTIF” is a high-energy groover, driven by 90s House synth stabs, funky percussion and banging drums, and it sits very nicely in between Techno and House.

Both tracks on my "WANNA GO BANG" EP are really ‘dance floor’ focused, so I’m very pleased that many noteworthy DJs have been banging out these tracks in their sets already pre-release. And I couldn’t be happier than to see them released on one of my all-time favorite labels, Drumcode! :) 🖤🙌

Batumi-born, Berlin-based DJ/Producer Nicole has been instrumental in the evolution of Tbilisi’s role as axis for music and politics. Her earliest ventures in sonic creation saw her attend music school as a child and drum in a band, followed by a pivot into electronic music as half of teenage duo Body Thrills. It was 2018 that she truly emerged solo as a talent to watch on the Georgian scene, with a Boiler Room performance at Bassiani to celebrate its reopening following civilian protests against the government’s shutdown of cultural spaces. And with the threat of authoritarian ideology looming once more, her kind of energy is perhaps more important than ever. Nicole’s sound represents the best of what Georgia has to offer, a free and open enthusiasm for life where creativity reigns and anything is possible. Witty minimal with a generous measure of acid squelches and positive funk, these tunes are a mirror to the dancefloors she plays on. Her strength is in knowing her audience, which strings to pull and when, and that’s just as true of her other work, which now counts promotion duties at Tbilisi space Cafe Gallery and an EP on Marco Shuttle’s Eerie Records. This is the final release in Thomas Schumachers break out Natural Rhythm trilogy on Noir Music. Not only did he position himself on the top of the charts with the first two releases but he also put his name straight in the spotlight and into the dj-sets of many of the top players in the techno scene.

So whats the next move when you have great success and peoples attention ?For both Noir Music and Thomas Schumacher its a no-brainer; You take it one step further and keep challenging yourself and your audience.

The opener Stella on this release is an example of just that. A very emotional string-led track accompanied by relentless techno beats, distorted arppeggios and a big cinematic break to make you pull your hair out from pure joy (i know i almost did).
Persistence is a mesmerising acid-journey that digs deeper and deeper in its intensity as it evolves into one of Thomas Schumachers signature breaks. Then the track takes an unexpected turn through a more complex, dynamic rhythm before resolving back together with its contagious 303 theme.

Its another 2-tracker from Thomas Schumacher where I feel I signed two a-sides as he just keeps making quality music the way only he knows how. It puts a smile on my face every time I play these tracks in the clubs around the globe and I hope it will please your ears as well.

Victor Ruiz lands his Debut EP on Drumcode.

Victor first released on Drumcode last year on their most recent edition of the famous A-Sides Vol.7 compilation with his colossal track ‘Pulso’. Victor has been relentless when it comes to producing absolutely huge sounding tracks, which are heavily suited to the big club room vibe. This May he steps up for his debut EP on Drumcode with ‘Nimbus’.

The title track ‘Nimbus’ marked an important milestone in his life, his arrival to Berlin, his new home. Due to the lack of studio space and set up, he made Nimbus entirely with headphones and laptop. A piercing track with a punctuated kick drum that cuts through the mix, alongside some industrial tones which build an eerie tension. A track that really sits on the darker side of the progressive techno world.

Victor explains that this release is “very much a mix of old and new” representing two stages of his life. ‘Unveil’ was a track he produced back in Sao Paulo, when day dreaming of his move to Europe. A chunky low end combined with big percussion that makes it more of a heady introspective track on the release. It most definitely shows a more experimental side Victor but is welcomed and makes for a thunderous dancefloor track.

‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic.
Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992.

Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew.
