In 2016 MonStar was invited to his first major music festival in is hometown and performed on Day 1 on the Mercury Stage at Free Press Summer Festival.
In 2017 MonStar was invited by @ddpworldwide (discodonniepresents) to perform on Day 1 on the Bass Crypt Stage at Something Wicked Festival.
In 2018 he was invited out by DiscoDonniePresents again and performed Day 1 at Freaky Deaky Texas.

Hailing from the grips of suburbia in Toronto, Nugun broke into the Montreal DJ scene in 2008 and has been sprinkling crowds with an unimaginable blend of spices ever since. Contrary to popular belief, his face was not chiseled by the gods and his body was not is sculpted to the proportions of Michelangelo’s David but, he does smell of cocoa butter and cash. His track selections always come out of left field with overwhelming bass lines, insane drum patterns and bring about a feeling that can only be explained as ‘riding a segway along a double rainbow’.
