This is a mad, irreverent road-trip of a mix, veering all over the map from post-punk to punk-funk, industrial to electronica, avant-garde to indie-pop, with a couple of pit-stops along the way (in Grafton.. or was that Rangoon?) It hopefully imparts the excitement of the times, when it seemed, after punk, popular music was expanding and exploring, getting out of the suburbs, past the signposts, beyond the bitumen...

Joint adventure of beats and frivolities between Adam Inglis (Mrs) and Christophe Verstreken (Poodfy)

As A.D.A.M. Baby! (A Disco Ate My BABY!), I started to make music for the dancefloor at the now-legendary Berlin Lounge Bar, Surfers Paradise, back in 2000. Some of these tracks were released on several 12 inch vinyl 45s, and started receiving attention from DJs further afield. After that I took a portable version of my studio out to play live, and had support from local and national radio. Triple J released the "Groove Train" album on CD featuring my track "Hold On". Pete Tong's Essential Mix  featured my edit of Dusty Springfield's classic "Windmills Of Your Mind".

For the last fifteen years or so I've been the producer and studio monkey for Funboys.

Funboys is the musical partnership of Audun and a.d.a.m.baby (linktr.ee/a.d.a.m.baby), ably assisted by Poodfy.

The three have their roots in club scenes spanning more than three decades, stretching from Oslo and Antwerp, ending up on Queensland's Gold Coast. 

Local GC clubs, including the legendary Berlin Lounge Bar and internationally-renowned Elsewhere, have been the stages that launched their left-of-centre post-punk house and techno to all those strange friends and familiar strangers on the dancefloor.

Funboys has released a variety of music on Tronik Youth’s UK label NEIN Records, Golden Bug’s French label La Belle Records, Australian labels Here To Hell, Unknown Records, Sweat It Out, Club Sweat, and Future Classic. Upcoming releases scheduled for Motorik, Belly Dance Services, and Calypso Records.
