From a young age, Aaron Carty was always fascinated with music and the drums. Progressing from couch pillows, he received his first drum set at age 6. During his teen years he played alongside his older brother Adam (guitar) and younger brother Isaac (bass). The three formed the Carty Trio.

Aaron kept up with his musical studies through school and graduated Musicians Institute in 2016, receiving his Certificate in Drum Performance. Aaron also released his first album "Moving Through Time" later that year. 
​
In 2018, Aaron moved to Santa Barbara, CA and joined Bombafiya, a reggae/rock band. The band played over 60  shows that year, and was awarded Best Reggae Band in Ventura County at the 2019 Ventura County Music Awards.

Aaron recently moved to Nashville, TN and is the current Drummer of  Everything Falls, a rock band fronted by singer/songwriter Aaron Linkous.
