Mission Late Bell

I'm a Composer, who started playing the keyboard at the age of 4, without any previous training, and found it to be so fun that I wanted to spend all my time playing music. From the age of 12 I started taking lessons in piano with Mehran Tebyani and became acquainted with classical music. Since then, I have been studying music mostly on my own, and composed my first piece at the age of 17. A few years later, I went to Pars Music Institute and finished courses in Harmony and Counterpoint's with Alireza Mashayekhi, an internationally-renowned composer and conductor. Also I took some composition lessons with great composer Kiawasch Saahebnasagh and Mazyar Younesi and now i'm studying and gaining experience in music too. Additionally, I have some experience in media and have scored several soundtracks for films and animations.
To me, music and composing are not just a hobby. They make me thinking and take me much closer to my essence. I create worlds by music and live in and through them.

Thomas was raised in Munich, Germany and started his musical training at an early age, learning to play the piano and guitar.

From 2010 until 2014 he trained in composition and sound engineering at the Deutsche Pop Musik Akademie in Munich. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales, UK for his BMus (Hons) degree (2014-2018), under Joseph Davies and Owen Lloyd, specialising in composition and creative music technology. In September 2018 he will be joining the Music Composition for the Screen (MFA) program at Columbia College Chicago for which he has been awarded with an assistantship.

He has worked with a wide range of people such as freelance film makers, directors, illustrators, musicians, and artists. He has worked with the American music producer Randall Dunn and the composer Jóhann Jóhannsson on the film MANDY (Director: Panos Cosmatos, 2018). Additionally, he worked as the orchestration assistant on the film MARY MAGDALENE, for which Jóhann and Hildur Guðnadóttir wrote the soundtrack. (Director: Garth Davis, 2018)

Besides writing music for visual media, Thomas also works as an orchestrator and conductor, and is very familiar with the audio processing and production process. He is always very keen to collaborate and expand upon his network.
