Should we give Bob cowriting credit? I took it for Muskoka Falls, but maybe did a bit more work. Just sayin'. Joe obviously values his input.

Lots of ideas I have not seen totally fleshed out, but with potential.

Who else was there that Bob keeps talking to? I would guess the Mrs. and Patricia, but not sure.

Darch is not a terrible reader, as it turns out.

OK. He wasn't quite reading. Still, an interesting little work.

From Jentes to Botsford and then Lodge. Quite a map they are covering. And really - "ragtime lost popularity because it was too hard to play" = hmmm.

This is one hell of a music collection he's got. All originals, of course.

Recently discovered in Australia, this is the disk for Vitaphone #418, PAULINE ALPERT IN 'WHAT PRICE PIANO".  Made in December 1926. The film exists so if we can get the disk over here it can be restored. Alpert was a legendary pianist, admired by Gershwin, and she made many piano rolls.  This is a major discovery ad while this transfer isn't the best, a professional cleanup will restore it to its original Western Electric glory.

Adam Swanson is one of the world’s foremost performers of vintage American popular music, including ragtime, early jazz, the Great American Songbook, and more. He holds a bachelor’s in classical piano and a master’s in musicology from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Although he is only twenty-five years old, Adam has been a featured performer and lecturer at ragtime and jazz festivals across the United States, and he is the only four-time winner of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest. He made his New York debut in Carnegie Hall at the age of nineteen, where he performed with Michael Feinstein. Adam has performed at the Cinecon Classic Film Festival in Hollywood and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as well as in Hungary and Switzerland. He has worked with such musicians as Toronto’s John Arpin, former rock star Ian Whitcomb, and legendary 1950s recording artist Johnny Maddox, who is one of Adam’s greatest influences.
