Gaz White is a music producer/composer and Dj based in Caernarfon North Wales.
The style of music he producers is Uplifting/Euphoric Trance and demonstrates vibes which are intimate and emotional but also carry some brooding edge.

His first introduction to the Trance world was a mistaken stumble into an after hours bar by the name of G-Bar in his home city of Liverpool in the summer of 1999.
“ It was like a door way into heaven had just been opened in my imagination when I experienced this unique sound called Trance for the first time, I just felt this music speaks to me.”

He soon after became a regular clubber at the legendary Cream in Liverpool but it was the G-Bar after hours club that become his personal addiction.  
The Dj of that time, Jimmy Jay had a style of sound in there that captured the true intimacy of Trance. The vibes of this small bar down in the basement room brought people together which gave everyone a sense of community and belonging within there. The emotional intimate sound of Trance of that time was the magnetism that drawn people together in friendship and love of music.

After a number of months it wasn’t long before he was collecting records and turning his hand to eventually DJ’n himself. He set up a night called “Reignition” a monthly Trance night which gained a little traction in the early 2000’s. 
In this period he met his now wife Vanessa and then shortly after gained a Dj residency at a local bar in his now home town of Caernarfon North Wales playing Trance every Friday and Saturday night.

Like a lot of others from that period Gary’s influences came from artists of that time such as PVD, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten. However he much loved the deeper moodier tracks of the period from the likes of Pulsar and Lange and believes these particular artists have left the biggest mark on his musical taste. 

It was the mid 2000’s before he turned his attention to producing. 
He felt there was something lost in the Trance music that was present in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. The delicate intimacy, unique themes and arrangements had become lost in the current productions. Everything was becoming very formulated and lacking in character.
It was from this revelation that Gary set out to learn music theory and production in its entirety in an attempt to create the sound he so much loved and craved from back then. 

Although his sound could be considered uplifting in the Trance world, it would be very honest to say it leans on a more brooding and intimate sound within the genre. His music contains strong themed based melodies which are memorable, catchy and have a strong majestic flare to them.
His experiments in modality and chord structure throughout the music can leave listeners intrigued  to where the piece will take them next which is something welcomed within the music of Trance.

His music takes you on a Journey through sonic sound scapes and melodic structure’s that captures the listeners imagination and emotions giving you a feeling of music in motion through space and time.
