Dim K (Dimitrios Kostaras) was born in the Greek city of Corinth. 
His fascination with electronic music began in 1995 with styles such as break beat, drum & bass, psychedelic trance,techno, ambient & house, and finally led to DJ'ing. 
He played several years on a local radio station and some events. 
Now he is making mixes in the style of progressive house and believes that every mix is an another journey every time. 
He did his first appearance after all these years as a guest at the radioshow Lifelines on People Say Fm & as a guest at radioshow Ocean Planet on Pure.FM & as a guest at radioshow Headlands on Pure.FM and he also played at Innervisions Radio and he is still making mixes. 
Since 2013 he is host at the monthly radioshow 'Progressive Stories' on Pure.Fm with Jose Tabarez.
Also since 2014 he has his monthly radioshow 'Dim K Sessions' on Nube Music Radio

Hi, my name is Mark Selby, back in the day, around about 1990 I first went to the legendary club in my home town of Sunderland "The Blue Monkey" and straight away I was hooked to the ever growing rave scene that was taking over the country. After several years of clubbing and trekking up n down the country attending raves I decided to purchase my own set of Technics 1210's. At first I started messing about with techno until I heard an amazing set played on the Essential Mix by the one n only Paul Oakenfold, that was it, I was hooked to psytrance  buying tracks on Perfecto Flouro, Union Jack and Dragonfly etc. It wasn't long after that I was introduced to epic house music and realised this was the sound that I wanted to start playing, listening to and taking inspiration from dj's like Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman to name a few. Eventually the scene took on the name of Progressive House, this was the style of music that I played for the next 6 years before hearing UK Hard House, I started playing hard house with old friends that I used to go out raving with.
This was a fantastic time when me and my friends did various nights the Sunderland playing in local bars, our most successful night "Crackdown" was a fantastic event where we would pull in a crowd of proper die hard music fans....good times ;-)
After about 6 Years of playing hard house I started to get back into trance music again and also took the digital plunge and started using CDJ's which I found strange at first but soon got the hang of, I messed about with trance for a few years before reverting back to my true roots of progressive house, the music that I first started to play back in 96.
Around 2 years ago I started a SoundCloud account and started putting my mixes online and the rest is history!!!!
