Giosuè D’Asta is a composer for Film & Visual Media currently based in Rome, Italy. 
He studied composition, piano and organ in Italy and abroad.
He had the privilege of studying with Hollywood composer Christopher Young, Derek Gleeson (conductor of Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra), Christo Pavlov (musician and producer) and Debbie Smith (music producer and recording engineer).
Currently he is attending the SoundTrackStudio of Catania and Circolo Filologico Milanese where is working on new pieces.

Music was always my love.  Playing pipe-organ and piano in the early teenager years I developed a good range of musical skills, however I've never been a good sight-reader.  I play by ear and usually find it easy to re-create pretty convincingly most musical arrangements to finest detail.  In my years as music teacher and choir leader in the 90s when it was harder to get karaoke versions of songs, I sequenced over 100 songs so we weren't reliant on piano accompaniments only.  This part of my life was fun.  I also played in a few Rock Bands where I was able to experiment with synths, mostly the Yamaha DX9.  As of recently I have started to take up making mostly original musical arrangements solely as a hobby.  Finished works I will publish here for your listening pleasure.

Sinister DreamCast is the podcast of Pittsburgh based film and multimedia production company, Sinister Dream Productions.  In this weekly podcast we will discuss everything from, film, TV, music, comics, the internet, philosophize pop culture and everything else we can think of. 

I am a concert and film composer, sound designer, and audio engineer currently based in New Orleans. I received my BFA and MFA in Music Composition from Carnegie Mellon University and I am working towards a Masters in Scoring for Film and Media at Pulse College.
