The album title, and a lot of the lyricism, drew from the experiences, emotions, and thought patterns I've had over the last year and a half. I have lots of anxieties about the world, but I'm grateful for the love and support of my friends and family.

Musically, the biggest inspiration for this album has been my Weber upright piano, which we bought second-hand shortly after moving to CT. It has a practice pedal, which plops a nice thick felt right down between the strings and the hammers. I'll sit down and doodle on it daily. In the end, I ended up recording it for every song on the album except the two instrumental songs, ironically enough. The last song on the album is a solo piano/vocal piece.

Hello everyone! I have been waiting to put this song out for a long time, and I'm super glad to be able to finally have it out!

This track is the final track in an upcoming EP of mine titled Kyoto Nights - a dark, 4 track representation of what my music has developed into over the years. This track is just a taste of what's to come.
