Very passionate, Matrheim expresses his each feelings and talent in the producing process but also during each stage appearance. Thanks to a huge professionalism and his schooling as a mixer and producer at Abbey Road Studio , he received support from lot of wellknow DJs.

He founded Eradys Records in 2016, label recognized throughout the world for having brought out artists like Trym, Dyen, Wallis, Blame the Mono, Caravel ...
Founded recently an other label named Geod records, where he can express other surfaces of musics.

His tracks are a mix of power and melodics, surrounded deep techno atmospheres. Today we're exploring a new facets of Matrheim, more deep and organic.

This weeks mix was a bit of an experimental journey, tried playing some tracks that I haven't played before to test them, see how they sounded when mixed. Because of that, I wasn't really sure where the mix was going, so enjoy 90 minutes of me slowly progressing through my collection as I play all sorts of weird and wonderful techno.

Ecsatic Dance is a different party concept where people are encouraged to dance free of judgment (including self-judgment), without cell phones, without drugs (including alcohol) and without communicating verbally. And this brings a presence and joy to people's faces that no substance can.
I'm going to call this ANCESTRAL DANCE, because for me it’s always like a ritual. This set here is a mixture of many references, to tell a story of who I am.

Für eine Nacht begeben sich die Disco Boys mit ihren eingemotteten Plattenkoffern zurück in die Zeit ihrer Anfänge. Die Zeit als sie Mitte der 90er House mit Disco Grooves vermischten bis zu den Vorläufern der sogenannten Electronic Dance Music. Die Musik wird wieder Seele haben, Erinnerungen wach rufen und eine unverwechselbare Partynacht versprechen. Wer die Disco Boys schon damals erlebt hat, weiß wovon die Rede ist. Voltrana is an album created by Manzur Iqbal / Futurecop! from Manchester, United Kingdom. 

This uplifting album mixes all its previous albums' sounds into one, while adding a new dimension. 

Voltrana keeps its roots by collecting Futurecop! signature "feels" of eighties, childhood memories, innocence, dreams and spiritualism. However what sets the album apart is the new additions of influences ranging from Eastern Mysticism, Zen Buddhism, Inner Universe, Meditation, Eastern 80s pop culture, Mindfulness and fundamentally letting go of the past, and living in the present, a direct opposite to previous messages of Futurecop! music, that longed for the past. 

Musically it features a mix of Futurecop!'s trademark warm and heartfelt synth sounds however this time with a lot of live acoustic instruments, orchestral aspects, a lot of guitar and post-rock influences, eastern instruments with even one of the stand out tracks recorded in a foreign language (Japanese). 

The whole concept of the album was created from the influence of discovering Ancient Eastern culture and spirituality. Zen and Taoism books such as those by Alan Watts to Chaung Tzu, to name a few. All blended together to create a new way of looking at life. Musically it is influenced by orchestral Soundtrack by Vangelis, Joe Hisaishi to Hans Zimmer and 80s Japanese pop music.
