It's the first sunday of February and this is the 125th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month A\S\O\M brings you a gentle mix.

About the mix:
My idea for this mix was to keep it essentially dreamy but I also add in a bit of twisted/dark tones in between to try and give the mix a range of emotions. Hopefully it reaches out to you that way. I really hope you enjoy this journey

Piotr Figiel founded the techno imprint RWETES, which focusses on his own underground productions. Having performed with musicians like Surgeon, Tom Hades, Paul Birken, Deas, and Esther Duijn, Piotr Figiel has made a name for himself in the Polish scene and beyond. In addition to being the owner of RWETES, he counts releases on Developer's Modularz, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Lex Gorrie's Unknown Territory, H.Paul's Induxtriall, and collaborations with Rraph and Marboc.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Incident" with its gritty, mechanical groove. Tension builds as the eerie atmosphere is met with robotic growls and groans that creates an ethereal sound of dystopian, sci-fi like effects, all of which geared to rocking the dance floor.

Rene Wise returns to Dustin Zahn’s Enemy Records with a massive follow up to 2022’s label debut, Jungle House. On “Deprivation,” the Moving Pressure artist delivers 4 undeniable, heads-down Techno grooves in his signature style.

Minimalism is the theme on the A-side. Anxiety and Insomnia are both stripped down and tripped out. Both hold steady in arrangement, allowing for the smallest details to shine through. Each track is topped off with Rene’s otherworldly synth washes and FX splashes atop of steady unwavering grooves.

A slight departure from his usual grooves, the B-side drifts off into uncharted territory while keeping in line with the moodiness of the A side. Sakar focuses on a pulsating tension-building synth line in constant flux. Meanwhile, staccato basslines and percussive splashes merge to form the record’s funkiest moment on Cutting Thick.

"Deprivation" is available June 20th, on Dustin Zahn's 'Enemy Records.'

Senso Sounds collects together a fantastic remix package of Oliver Huntemann’s 'Propaganda' album. The longplayer
dropped last year to much fanfare, richly deserving the praise for one of the longest serving techno dons in the European
scene. First up is Brazilian DJ and producer Alex Stein. His take on 'Taktik' is a suitably muscular approach, building the track
around a thick, urgent pulse and proving ample space for tension-building slices of metallic FX.
Argentinian Shall Ocin flips 'Egoist', bringing about very different results - a euphoric peak time burner with huge amounts of
energy. Senso mainstay Carlo Ruetz takes on 'Der schwarze Kanal', and digs into an early groove that never lets up, building slowly
over the tracks entirety. Hamburg's own Hatzler brings his special talents to 'Absurd', and delivers a slick, powerful cut that unfolds over almost eight minutes of joy.
Canadian Minimal Techno producer Marc Houle turns his attention to 'Poltergeist', flipping the original into a streamlined
slice of robo-techno, sharp as a knife with shards of percussion and killer synth stabs.
'Rotlicht' is presented in its full glory and joined by a tough-as-nails remix by Raxon. The Egyptian DJ and producer, born
and raised in the United Arab Emirates, locks deep into the groove and adds his own delicious spin to the track.
'Trick17' is giving an Alternative Remix by Senso regular Distale. The Berlin resident provides a Beatport exclusive mix with
more of a driving groove, and brings the arpeggiated synths to the fore.

Adam Rahman is a DJ/Producer based out of Dubai, who has been instrumental in developing the Techno scene in India and the Middle East.

A DJ, promoter, label owner, and festival co-owner, Adam Rahman has exerted a significant influence on the dance music scene in the Middle East, India, and now expanding his impact globally over the span of several decades. Although techno currently dominates the dance music landscape, he has consistently advocated for cutting-edge music, whether in the realm of Techno or Electronica.

An innovative DJ and visionary promoter, Adam introduced avant-garde techno and electronic music to the Middle East shortly before the turn of the millennium. Through his WARPED nights, he laid the foundation for an exceptionally credible dance music scene. WARPED has transformed into exclusive gatherings and a monthly radio show called 'Warped After Hours' on Ibiza Global Radio, featuring emerging talents from the Middle East and India alongside Adam's unparalleled music curation.

Further accomplishments ensued through his contributions at Ohm Records, the renowned record store and agency he managed for many years, which introduced brands like Chill Out Festival, Taboo, iLL Communications and many more. Frequently, he would also perform during those events, demonstrating his versatility across a spectrum of styles encompassing deep, rhythmic and captivating vibes. He has shared the stage with notable figures like Derrick May, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, and numerous other renowned artists. Subsequently, he became an indispensable member of the acclaimed Groove on the Grass festival team, once again positioning himself at the forefront of innovative dance music scene in the Middle East. In doing so, he continued to propel techno and electronica toward a burgeoning audience.

The advancement he achieved on a regional scale has been mirrored by his international performances, spanning Europe and Asia, and elevating him to a headlining position in his home countries, India & UAE. As a certified sound engineer, he swiftly transitioned into production roles, releasing music on labels
worldwide, as well as on his cherished KitchenSync Records—a label he co-manages in Dubai with two other friends. His DJ sets have garnered global attention, with his mix for Resident Advisor's Wild City being the inaugural
feature from India.

Through his A \ S \ O \ M alias, he has put forth a diverse range of music encompassing downtempo, leftfield, and alternative electronica. Adam's growth, evolution, and success mirror that of his initial passion, techno. Adam delves into a broad spectrum within the house and techno genre, presenting an array that spans from deep, dark, hypnotic, driving, loopy sounds to the groove-infused house and techno influenced by the Romanian music scene.

His performances are characterized by their ever-changing nature, steering clear of predictability while offering a unique experience each time.
