The Fox and The Key

The idea arose at Rijeka's cultular nightlife place 'Kont' in the late autumn of 2016, when Janko Podvorec, Matija Škrlec and Armin Basha concluded that there was a certain shortage of Dub / Ska Punk bands in the city. It wasn't difficult at all to agree on the name of the band, and they annexed Erik Peić in the formation for the role of drummer. 

Although the first released EP, entitled 'Burn Dis Matrix', contains sampled drums, he still managed to play his debut gig at the 'No Masquerade' (eng. for 'No Maškaran') fest in the known culture center of 'Palach'. Shortly after the gig, they parted ways with Peić, and Antonio Stašić took the helm of the drum set, thus perpetuating the line-up. 

The band participated in various events such as 'Brain Fryer', 'RiRock', 'Komshilook' and performed a symbolic gig at 'Kont', where the band was born. In 2018, they were nominated for 'RiRock Award' in the category of 'the most promising young demo band in Rijeka' and along the way gave an interview for "Torpedo Media" before the portal began to mix daily politics into the program.

They lived happily ever after.

Spawning from their love of bands like My Bloody Valentine, Deftones and Radiohead combined with an interest in electronic music, think Aphex Twin, Modeselektor, Gesaffelstein, Dwarf Planet are an outfit from Perth, Australia making indie rock, shoegaze, dark electronica and everything in between.
