Masterful arrangement. The switching between instrumentation to create interest and change the dynamic is marvellous. Excellent vocal and harmonies.

Wow, Adam. Mad skills across the board. Every move and sound perfect. You can hang a star on this one.

A great arrangement and recording of this lesser known McCartney song Adam. It certainly matches the original in terms of quality.

Such a crystalline, detailed arrangement and glorious reimagining!

Definitely worth the 13 year wait! You may need to dig through more memory cards!

Cold Steel

Hellllooo summer! We decided to stop sulking and try our hand at a more upbeat rock song. Alice may as well have donned a top hat, shades and bee-lined towards the nearest cliff for her violin solo! 
It’s a song about that buzz you get when you start writing music with other people, either for the first time - or in my case, the first time in a decade since having kids. It’s inspired by one of my all time favourite artists, the late Mark Lanegan and definitely some Beta Band influence creeps through. Hope you enjoy.

This was a solo project that J.J. made about 3 months ago. Nordic Ninjas (Acoustic for Egypt)

Baby of the 80s, teen of the 90s, obsessed with the 60s and 70s; an FM wannabe in a Youtube world. I guess I just wasn't made for these times. I like songwriting in the Gershwin, Tin Pan Alley, Lennon/McCartney tradition. I prefer records to singles. I prefer three minutes to ten.

According to my mama, I was whistling before I learned to talk. I played organ in the Memphis garage rock scene between 2000 and 2016. I've done a lot of studio work, adding keys to records by songwriters that I really admire.

I'm now focused on recording my own songs. I have a minimal home recording set up with a laptop, microphones, cheap guitars, drums, piano, and a grab bag of other toys. All my lyrics rhyme with the truth, or at least I think they do. 

Life is short and there are more good songs then there are raindrops. Which is to say: thank you very much for lending me your ears.
