Hello again,

Presenting the first of two holiday gifts for you, the now traditional three hour journey mix for Afterhours.fm's End of Year Countdown celebrations, and one that encompasses many long hours of preparation. 

Much like a reflection of the open to close solo sets, the extended time allows the full Markus Schulz sound palette to blossom - starting deep, and building things up as we go along. A collection of some of my favorites across the genres in recent months, a few brand new IDs being debuted for the first time on radio, and a little sprinkling of classics.

Markus Schulz opens his Global DJ Broadcast account for the year with another themed edition, and in an effort to help ease yourself back into the grind and daily routine after the Christmas break, he presents a special New Year's Rehab mix, containing recent and distant favorites of the deeper and melodic variety, weaved across a two hour journey.

A very special edition of Global Trance Grooves this month, as you know I’ve been looking back a lot this month due to my new single ‘Looking back. To Look forward’. Whilst I was digging through my vinyl collection visiting memory lane, I thought whilst holding these special vinyls, wouldn’t it be a good idea to make a mix of theses tracks that were special to me, so I did. I dearly miss the more specialist deeper, Progressive days of Trance and I think its an important history lesson to remember the roots of Trance music and not to forget it. 

Also ss Beatport have made JOOF recordings label of the month, and we’re approaching 20 years of JOOF, I have an excuse to get carried away showcasing many new JOOF recordings tracks in both the Deep and Turbo mixes.
