Sometimes strong talent demands quick follow-ups, and when Liondub International and Adam Prescott first linked with “Technique” they wasted no time in making a strong move to secure more of the heavyweight sound from this producer. Featuring an all-star cast of Reggae artists including Sugar Minott (RIP), Ranking Joe, Johnny Osbourne, Jahdan Blakkamore, Metric Man, and Junior Dangerous, “Heavenless Riddim Story” presents a modern take on the classic one riddim album, packed with pressure from top vocal talent. The original “Heavenless Version” falls between digi-dub and dubstep, with low-bit sound effects, classic brittle dancehall drums and fat bass, and the producer subtly flips the riddim in different directions for each new version. Jahdan’s “No Bad Vibes” shows off his versatile deejaying while distorted bass billows out from underneath, while Johnny Osbourne’ “Dubplate Medley” borrows portions of his famous passages drawn through a heavy haze of effects which has garnered worldwide support from luminaries like David Rodigan and Iration Steppas. Both Junior Dangerous and Ranking Joe summon classic dancehall style when they flex, with Dangerous taking the more aggressive route while Joe twists his tongue and shouts in his fine style; Metric Man and Pad Anthony deploy contrasting sing-jay styles over two of the more drastic reworks of the riddim. Finally, the dearly departed guest of honor is Sugar Minott, whose “Soundboy Killing” strips the version back to foreground bass and percussion and leaves the focus clearly on his inimitable vocal style.  With eight distinctive interpretations from Prescott and a clutch of roots’ and contemporary reggae’s best vocal performers, “Heavenless Riddim Story” unites generations in the dancehall with fresh sounds from one of today’s most promising upcoming talents.

At first listen to Japanese style of Reggae music. After that affected by the Bob Marley’s song lyrics and Jamaican culture. He join Mad Pan sound to start MC and Selector. Worked at record shop Brooklyn NY and spend some time there in the street. Then he listened some Jamaican sound system casette tape. He shocked by Sound Clash business so much and aspire to Clash Sound. Also interested in Jamaican oldies Ska, Rock Steady and Roots of Reggae. He had been in Kingston Jamaica and London UK. To improve english NYC three years at Brooklyn College. Sound play is performed at the night club in NY, Boston and Connecticut US. Back to Japan and start GEO-X ( Diplomatic* Sound ). The victory is won in the sound clash two times. Managed a record shop and organized big reggae festivals in his home town. The activity as a Japanese reggae diplomat will be expected.
