Rebel Boy is the brainchild of former Trance Producer/DJ Johnny Yono. While currently based in Los Angeles, the artist's roots come from the great "Motor City" Detroit. There he would nurture an undying love for electronic music, eventually finding his true calling within the immortal sounds of Techno. 

Blending massive, unrelenting energy with deep and mystifying atmospherics, Rebel Boy quickly gained the attention of Frankyeffe at Riot Recordings. Included with his debut EP release was the breakout bomb, 'Cerebral Mass' which immediately caught the attention of the Techno community amassing major support from industry giants such as UMEK, Spektre, Veerus, OC & Verde and Brennen Grey to name a few. Nearing the end of 2020, he re-emerged on Riot unleashing the mighty 'Fireheart' EP which placed him in the Top 5 on Beatport's Techno chart further establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with.

Following were collaborations with both Frankyeffe and Spanish dance heavyweights, The YellowHeads landing him on Oliver Huntemann's legendary Senso Sounds label with 'Adrenaline Machine' which immediately generated big numbers on charts across the board shortly after it's release. With unparalleled dedication to quality and many exciting projects on the horizon, Rebel Boy is becoming one of Techno's most celebrated new talents and certainly one to keep on your radar.

So this is something new. I present to you on AMFM my latest #alonetogether live stream from August 20th 2021. That means you could also watch the whole thing on my youtube channel if you like. The difference here is though that the set is nicely mastered for your full listening pleasure and not just some weird streaming sound quality. If you like more of this, visit my Mixcloud Select page … I always put up all live streams as well as AMFM shows without me talking and of course mastered. After around 3h sadly my live stream computer started crashing, so if you discover the occasional weird mix, that was due to me trying to get that laptop back to work so the stream would  continue … I guess it got too hot in the rave cave for the little laptop… well that put my focus away from the music for a while… Besides that, when I stream, there is a little multitasking going on next to making sure I stream on various channels live, as I not only DJ, I also do the visuals, lights, fog, camera angles, communicating in the comment sections, as well hosting some of my neighbours who showed up in my rave cave. Don’t tell me I can´t walk and chew gum at the same time…;) . Anyways, this is the second hour of the stream, with loads of new music on here. I hope I see you somewhere soon again, live on the dance floor!

It is our honor and pleasure to welcome CLR boss Chris Liebing to Global Vibe Radio, with an exclusive one-hour mix of powerful techno goodness. 

Chris Liebing’s friendly demeanour and beaming smile make him enormously recognisable in the modern electronic music landscape, but it’s the years of passionate dedication to his craft as an artist that have made him synonymous with Techno.

A pioneer of the European contribution to the story of Techno, the Giessen (Germany) born producer and DJ has been active the world over since the 1990s and, at every stage of his career, has helped create a platform for other artists, not to mention the scene in general to flourish. Whether via his long-running CLR imprint, affiliated podcast and club nights, his current radio show AM/FM or his 2020 Alone Together streams and DJs & Beers ‘talk show’, Liebing the curator extends way beyond his DJ sets.

Since 2018’s ‘Burn Slow’ LP on Mute, Liebing’s musical direction has grown to encompass some of his earliest influences. Taking in nascent 80’s electronica, psychedelic melodies and an unmistaken seam of alternative music of the past 40 years, ‘Burn Slow’ and remixes for Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp heralded a new chapter for Liebing that continues in 2021 with the arrival of his ‘Another Day’ LP.

Although now incorporating a wider range of sounds into his work and performances, Liebing has no interest in leaving darkened rooms and dancefloors behind and, with the return of CLR in 2021, we can look forward to more of his unmistakable presence pushing Techno forward for years to come.

BBC Essential Mix 23/9/2017 - clean version

I always enjoy playing long sets and one of my favourite times of the year is playing my IPSO residency at Gewölbe where I tend play up to 9 Hours.

The long sets I think are important, because it gives so much freedom musically and Gewölbe is an incredible club to do that. 

From the only bespoke built Martion horn soundsystem in the world, to the extended opening hours, there is no place like it.

It's unusual for an artist's first releases to be acknowledged by Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Adam
Beyer, and Marco Carola. Then again, Stiv Hey isn't your usual artist.
Hailing from Milan, Stiv is quickly becoming an authority in techno, spearheading the next
generation of music leaders. Approaching the genre with a contemporary edge, Stiv flows
between a punchy techno and a more groove based tech style.
Stiv has already begun to see sold-out performances on an international scale. During his
tours from Russia to USA to the South America, Stiv completely jammed every single club
where he played, and closed pretty much each show with long applauses from the crowds.
Turning to Asia, Hey is intensively touring in countries like China and India with incredible
success. thanks to this he is building an establishment of a fan base in the eastern
hemisphere.
In Europe Stiv has already achieved a strong support in countries like Romania, Bulgaria,
Spain and Uk.
Recently relocated to Barcelona, Stiv played his debut party in the city in front of a 3000
people crowd, making a memorable performance. Stiv is currently developing a party brand
series titled, "Memories," which has managed different European shows, like the one on a
galleon in the Gulf of Naples, the one in the Ushuaia Tower suite in Ibiza and the one at
Kristal Club in Bucharest, along with many others.
East or West, Stiv Hey is an ascending figure in the techno landscape.
