"Strung" written by Adam Campbell
This is what I submitted for my Songwriting Assignment at Leeds College of Music - and got 71/ a first!
I decided to go for an acoustic and ambient vibe, developing into a progressive "snowballing" texture buildup towards the end. Sadly i again have had to use MIDI drums in this (so much love for Logic's Seventies drum kit). All is original and written by me. Feedback's always welcome!

Original song by "The Kills"

This is a cover I produced for my University Interview, featuring Rose Wheeler (Vocals), Tom Leach (Guitar) and myself (Drums, Sequencing and Bass Guitar).

My aim was to produce my own version of the track, aiming for a wide, gritty garage rock sound by retaining the muddy fuzz of the guitars, and distorting some of the vocals. I utilised the ambience captured with room microphones and wide mixing style in order to give the song a 'big, wide' sound!

Segment of music I took from my college production work. 
I produced it under a lot of influence from The Mars Volta, featuring heavy use of reverb, ambient room mics on the piano with spills from the drummers cymbals and then using slightly off-tone pitch generators on the guitar.
