Descending Meteorites - Season 27 Orbit 6
I can do this. I am almost done with the last sector. A warning!! on the dash lights and sound indicate an unknown descending object as I come across the last sector, what can this be?? It must be a big object if the alarm is this dark red, I can hear the team shout at me but I can’t understand their words. I realize that the object's trajectory is directly to the ground a bit ahead of me. I can't even tell what it could be, it's too bright to lay eyes on it. I can feel my heart pound in my chest as I see the impact. A bright dark red flame as it hits the ground, dust and rock is flying in the air! My neck hair is trembling as I feel the energy but no disturbances in the air as I try to ascend a little bit higher. And then I see it, an arm! It can't be!? Against all thoughts my instincts and curiosity call me down there to investigate. I dive down and leave my gear behind. What will I find down there? Did I really see an arm? Are only some of the questions racing in my mind on my way to the ground. I see the smoke rising from the impact zone, but as I walk over there I hear something and feel a disturbing presence. A low whisper lies in the air as I close in to see the arm I saw from above, shivers go down my spine because it feels like the meteor is alive. My eyes gaze upon a purple crystal that steams in a black gooey substance, the arm breaks out of the right side. A mark glowing in red and looking just like mine.
