I wanted this track to describe the feeling of reflection as I started writing it towards the end of 2021. There was a ton of intense growth and self discovery for myself over the course of last year and to make sense of so much that happened within a short period of time I tried piling it all up in one place within this song. Iridescence means to show luminous colors that seem to change when seen from different angles. I thought this would be the perfect title to encompass my overall outlook on the past when looking at it from a newer, more mature perspective in the future.
