Mantra Hop is an initiative focused on positive mantra singing mixed with movement and dance from electronic low-fi beats, sub bass and live instrumentation such as Shivam’s signature 22 string Crystal Slide Guitar, tabla, Shakuhachi flute and more.

After three years of full time study under a scholarship at SAE media institute during Covid lockdowns world wide, Shivam Rath has reinvented a new style of sacred mantra music blending his Indian Classical training and signature Crystal Slide with electronic music production. Hence the birthing of the new album Mantra Hop.
This is an initiative focused on group mantra singing mixed with movement and dance from electronic low-fi beats, sub bass and live instrumental looping based on Indian Classical Music, creating a dynamic journey from subtle ceremonial silence, lush atmospheric sound scapes to upbeat dance music, mantra singing, live instrumentation and then returning back to the meditational space.

This track is one of an assemblage of 6 compositions I've created for my debut release. I am releasing this unfinished version so people can get a preview of the set I and Jason Takahashi will be performing at Rootwire Festival 2K12 in Logan OH. All the songs are tuned to specific solfeggio frequencies and have been shown to aid humans in many different healing and empowering ways. Many composers have created music and soundscapes for these frequencies, most of them slow and atmospheric. These tracks are intended to be high energy to encourage ecstatic dance states in the listener. Working closely with these frequencies has done wonders for me personally and i encourage anyone who is interested to further explore this realm.
