Metal version of a folk song from New Zealand.

This was originally two different songs that fused, one written from the perspective of my Dungeons and Dragons character "Jeff McDinglewood", a neutral-good, bard-paladin, Dwarf! He's always using an ability on his comrades called "Bardic Inspiration", where he can inspire others through stirring words or music. The chorus is what I came up with one D&D session as I was playing his character. The other song was about loneliness and sadness, and finding strength in yourself when you couldn't rely on anything else. I realised the lyrics fit well together, and also recording one song is easier than two.
