The so-called Mariner is a mutant and can breathe under water. One day he is captured by the inhabitants of an atoll. During an attack by the Smokers, a pirate gang, he manages to escape with the help of Helen and her adopted daughter Enola. He soon discovers the true motives for the attack: the leader of the Smokers, Deacon, has it in for the little girl and believes that the tattoo on her back points the way to the legendary Dryland.

Arram Koth is a fabled ancient city somewhere in deep space. Many have searched. Few have found it, and even fewer return.

The caves are unique. There are hot springs inside, filling a range of pools that maintain a constant temperature, and with just enough air flow to form perfect hot tubs and saunas. The cave walls are covered with lichen that emit a warm restful light with fluctuating patterns of colour. There is sound too, from the air currents moving through hollow stalactites.

A universe of naked peoples and creatures float, swim, or just bask on natural rock benches - all in total silence.

This is an very emotional and beautiful piece of Celtic wedding music. There is a distinct spiritual feel to the song and it is based upon traditional Irish folk melodies.
