This must have been one of the biggest tracks in most of my dj sets of last year and I'm super excited it will now be finally available for everybody" says our label manager @pedromercado about "Gideon", the title track of our newest Chrom EP. 

Pedro created this track during the pandemic in collaboration with @jg_outsider and started to test it with big success in his gigs as soon as the pandemic was over. Subsequently, Pedro Mercado and JG Outsider produced also some more tracks together, and so this EP was born!

The third track on the release, "Arcadia", is pure Progressive House bliss. 

During the pandemic Pedro Mercado got in contact with the Spanish artist Javier Gómez when they joined the same new booking agency EMA (Electronic Music Anthem). Javi is not a new name in the electronic music scene. He was formerly known as 'Javi Golo', a dj/producer with an impressive and long international career going back to the progressive trance of the 90's. During the pandemic Javi worked on his comeback as 'JG Outsider', a digital and analogue energetic live act with a melodic and progressive techno sound, combined with indie dance influences. This resulted in releases on labels such as Krafted Underground, Nein, @Tanzgemeinschaft, and yes also Chrom Recordings. He is now also the label manager of @UnderTheTrees.ofc, the new Indie Dance sublabel of Tanzgemeinschaft.

The production is crisp and clean, allowing each element of the tracks to shine. Especially with the groovy bassline, all warehouse-ready synth stabs, and bustling beats with toasty chords on Melodic Movement.
Space Knowledge showcases Technetium's ability to a nice infectious groove. The use of rich synth textures, emotive chord progressions and laden with pitched-down vocals truly elevates these tracks to the next level.
Overall, this release is a must-listen for fans of melodic techno.
