Quite simply, we live in a music culture obsessed with mixes, mixtapes, and any playlist iTunes is quick to provide us. In this day and age, putting together just the right mix is a drop and drag away; what was once a labor of love has been reduced to a series of 1s and 0s. Nowhere is the decline more evident than in the electronic genre. At the risk of sounding like an old man, anyone with a laptop can plug in, pull together disparate tracks, and play Girl Talk for awhile. The labor and love that once went into such sets has all but dissipated on countless “electronica” pages found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp. Working hard for a paycheck has been replaced by “get rich quick schemes.” This guy doesn't believe in getting rich quick.

Out Loud is an organized podcast that reflects on culture and structure of everyday life. Bringing a diverse cast on board, the podcast crew plan to discuss real world events, news and information. There will also be mini-episodes pertaining to hobbies such as gaming, art, music, graphics, etc.
Our Target audience will range from the ages of 15 and up as we try to educate and inform everyone, but we are not excluding those who are not of age.

I was born to a typical family in St. Louis.  My father's love of music quickly took over my Midwestern upbringing.

In elementary school, I took to writing rhymes as well as playing violin and trumpet.  I continued to play trumpet until high school, as well as participating in school and church choirs.

Near the end of high school, a friend and I took up the art of the DJ (when vinyl was the only option).  At Hampton university, I picked up the nickname "the Professor" for knowing a little bit about everything. The love of DJing and rocking crowds through college and after brought me to the conclusion that I should begin producing my own music - making makeshift production rigs with a borrowed tape recorder, keyboard and an Alesis drum machine I bought near the end of my undergraduate career.

In 2009, I got more serious and purchased a set of equipment to begin his journey into the music world with a friend named Jason. Check out my sounds here!

Known for his ability to move crowds, dig deep in the crates, and always keep it funky; DJ MAHF walks a fine line between artistic turntablist and party rocker. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri he began experimenting on the decks when he was in high school. Since, he has played just about every major venue in the region & has been all over the world spreading his signature sound.

In St. Louis, MO The Riverfront Times has crowned him "Best Hip Hop DJ" 7 different times including 2013. He also took home St. Louis' 2010 Red Bull Thre3style Champion and then went on to place 4th in U.S. Finals. 

He has had the honor of sharing the stage with artists ranging from hip hop heavyweights Snoop Dogg, Tech N9NE, Danny Brown, & most of the Rhymesayers camp to legendary DJs such as Z-Trip, Shadow, & Cut Chemist. In 2013 he was Bud Light's DJ in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII & 2014 in New York for Super Bowl XLVIII. Today, MAHF is a very active member of Indyground Ent. and has put in work on a number of releases & tours with Kansas City's Steddy P.

MAHF has always been active in the remix/mixtape game as well. Ongoing series such as Homemade Junk & Press Play At Night keep fans satisfied, but the projects to come will see him exploring even more new territory. When at home, DJ MAHF holds down a number of weekly & monthly gigs in towns around the Midwest.

HipHop Artist born and raised on the southside of Chicago. his style is grimy, gritty, and creatively put together with the most hard-hitting lyrics that you could compare to any error of hip-hop and still would be relevant and effective. El Dorado's style has been developed from multiple different arenas and thought processes! Heavy influences from earlier Hip Hop like... Big L, Jeru the damager, Cool G Rap, Taking etc. but his most impactful experience with sharpening the skill of being an emcee came from his crew. His brothers BE, Dread Lion, Saba, Selassie Posse, Trinyti Family, and 389.
