Pale Night of Quiet

This orchestral piece was inspired by loss. I used to keep a small but very crowded list of the people who had passed on that I knew from over the years in different places. It was under constant revision with very small print. That is until it mysteriously disappeared one day. Every once in a while I find myself looking for it, but it manages to elude me. So many people to remember now. I will make a new list soon. Some died young, some old and many now forgotten. This piece is dedicated to them and in remembrance of all WWI, WWII, Vietnam, and all the wars large and small since - to veterans everywhere.

The idea was to present my influences in a totally unpretentious, intimate way, like a hippie singalong by a bonfire. This is a spiritual thing, and these covers are still important songs to me. This is like a "test drive" of the new album concept. Maybe I'll re-record it, maybe not. Maybe there will be volume 2, or maybe I'll spare you the atrocities. Anyway, here's a tracklist:
