With releases on imprints such as Kindisch, Manjumasi and Get Physical, Adisyn started conquering the electronic scene a few years back. His most recent release, Amorphous, has been released as part of Music For Balearic Peoples' Beirut fundraiser. 

With this mix, Adisyn wanted to create something that he would play if clubs and touring were still on schedule. He has been creating many things in the studio and has been struck by a real force of inspiration over the last couple of months.  Excited to share the new music with the world very soon, he already packed a first teaser in this mix: an upcoming gem with his friend Wassu!

We love what we hear and cannot wait for the new Adisyn music to be released this year!

The full recording from my all night session at StereoBar in Montreal on the 8th of September for Les Beaux Dimanches. 

Returning home from my first Burning Man experience only a couple of days before, this night was an opportunity to channel and express a uniquely inspired energy. This week in the desert was many things, but more than anything it was an affirmation of the power of art and music. It deepened my gratitude to be participating in that and to have the chance to connect with people through music, especially in places like StereoBar. 

Getting to reunite with many friends with whom I had shared this BM  experience, as well as so many treasured Montreal friends and dancers was really special. It created a type of intimacy and togetherness that only happens when many things line up just right. 

The energy throughout the night was unforgettable.

It's a beautiful place that's really two cities – Barcelona by day, and Barcelona at night. It's a very sexy and laid back city but has a pulsing nightlife and passion for life and house music. Ah, Brooklyn, the city that has it all – from the gritty to the glorious, it’s a city that’s always changing and has stayed the same. It’s raw, it’s hype, it’s traditional, it’s fresh. I love this place. It’s a great break from the congestion of Manhattan but still has that New York attitude…well, from the OG residents, that is. By day you’ve got Prospect Park with its farmer’s markets and beautifully groomed nature, Coney Island handball courts, and plenty of shops, restaurants and pickup ball games. By night the main streets hum with the sounds of drunken youth, overflowing bars, friend’s laughter, rooftop parties, and great underground club nights.

I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.
