After two singles released on Cookie Records, they join Yuksek's crew at Partyfine with their single "Vai Ser Muito Bom".
In "Vai Ser Muito Bom" ("it's going to be great" in Portuguese), the "garota de Ipanema" (the girl from Ipanema) invites Les Hiboux celebrate Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. She lists with excitement all the wonders of carnival and of the brazilian culture as a whole.
The single is released with 3 quality remixes:
- a remix "Bloco" (which is the traditional gathering of percussionists in street carnivals) by YUKSEK.
- a slow techno remix "I don't Speak portuguese" by CLAAP! because the meaning of the lyrics no longer exists in his version !
- a "Maneiro" (chill, relax) remix from V4YS, perfect to watch the sunset with a caipirinha in your hand.

The debut single from new Bastard Jazz signee Bad Colours, “Cookin’” is a three-minute heater that’s just begging to get the dancefloor fired up (even if it’s on Zoom, for now). Produced in isolation, the track channels OG hip-house energy with a chopped and looped vocal sample, funky, meandering bass line, and atmospheric pads; a saxophone solo concludes the song on a soulful note, while the four-on-the-floor kick and swung hi-hat make for a perfect shuffling beat. The single pack also includes the instrumental.

Bad Colours is the moniker of London-born, Maryland-raised, Brooklyn-based DJ, songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist Ibe Soliman. The new project came about while isolating at home in Flatbush during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by some rough ideas, instrumental loops, and vocal samples that friends sent him, Ibe focussed his attention on music and had quickly compiled more than enough tracks for a full-length release. Known for his residencies at some of New York’s top venues, Ibe has been rocking crowds as a DJ for over a decade, and has shared the decks with the likes of James Murphy, Mark Ronson, and Q-Tip. He’s performed alongside Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, and Young Thug, to name a few. In high demand as a private party curator, he’s helped set the tone for Jeff Koons, FKA Twigs, Justin Timberlake, Travis Scott, and Usher. When Ibe’s not behind the decks, he’s in the lab, where he’s produced for Kendrick Lamar, Faith Evans, Keyshia Cole, and Rick Ross, among others. 

“Cookin’” is the first single from an upcoming full length project to be announced on Bastard Jazz Recordings.

Premiere: Jesusdapnk - Therapy [Who's Who]

"Fuego en casa" is an electronic label based in Brussels (Belgium), devoted to electronic music, sound design and a/v shows. Its second releases is the debut EP by Madrid 79 : 6 cuts of acid / electro mastered by Pedro Vinuela at Nexo 101 Mastering.
A soundtrack about a day in an imaginary city called Madrid in 1979 where kids took Opel Kaddetts to drive by in neighbourhoods like Ciudad Lineal/Ventas/San Blas. A science fiction version of the town where people listened to acid electro as well as music by flamenco rock artists of the Cano Roto Sound. And where the city and its inhabitants ressembled the comics in Metal Hurlant magazine. The record is split between a Dawn and an Evening Side.
 "Acid Dawn" is the soundtrack where the city starts waking up and the kids go back to their working class neighbourhood in their cars after a night driving around the city centre. A good "Acid breakfast" in the bars of the neighbourhood with a black "Acid Coffee". "Aciday" starts. The parents have to go to their work in the factories around the city and the kids wander in the around to find adventures and opportunities. They go to car repair joints, to parks...more and more houses are built in the background. There are promises of a more
modern city but opportunities are not always real. Listening to electro music makes a lot of a difference and gets you out. The day is a melancholic one as dreams did not materialise. Time for an "Electro Dinner" and take the cars again at sunset to visit other parts of the city to continue dreaming
