This year was different from all the rest - that’s for sure. This would have been my 7th burn in a row. I guess technically, it was. But something felt different when it was over and I didn’t feel like I need a week to recuperate, both physically and mentally. Regardless, for this set, I pictured what it was like playing at Distrikt and being at Distrikt on any given day. This was a magical set to play on the ten mile creek beach in Escalante, our home in Lake Powell for a week. Sea legs describes the physical state I was in the entire time while playing this set. After being on a boat all day long, I felt like the ground was moving the entire time I was playing. In addition to the ground moving the stars lit up the night, 
while madness going on all around me. The canyon was lit up with led lights with burst from a flame thrower reflecting off the lake. Thanks to the entire Fugawi crew for making this the most special set I have spun in 2020.

A mix for a friends party that never was due to the restrictions we all find ourselves living under.  I love this selection of tunes and the flow of the mix so had to get it out there for public consumption, pretty punchy and progressive techno mix...

I’ve started recording studio mixes in one take; no restarts or 2nd chances, hopefully creates a mix with more feel to that in the club.. Also helps me concentrate! This is all mainly tunes that I have discovered during the lockdowns in 2020. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it...

"This set was a very fun, high energy set that was based off the energy in the room that New Year's Day 2020. The room was bumping and jumping. There was a huge rush of excitement for this new decade and new year twenty fuggin twenty! Perfect vision.  It was so innocent, so sweet, our enthusiasm... so precious, haha! This was actually my favorite set of the last year or two... and looking back now... it was such a perfect beginning to such a terrible year! I can never forget this night/day."

Corbeatz is an LA-based DJ, digital creator, and founder of the Underground DJ Collective (UDC). Raised in Detroit, the birthplace of techno, he blends House, Tech, Afro, and 80s-inspired remixes into high-energy journeys that unite diverse crowds.

From rocking clubs and public spaces in LA to building UDC into a platform for rising underground talent, Corbeatz is preparing for the global stage — with Tomorrowland’s CORE Stage Los Angeles firmly in sight.

Biography

Originally from New York adamROSS began his love for electronic music by frequenting famed NYC clubs like Limelight, The Tunnel, and Twilo. The love for the club scene and electronic music eventually led to a Dj career. No stranger to crowds he has had the opportunity to share a stage with some of the most well-known artists in the underground electronic music community. 
(Tale of Us, Thugfucker, Paul Oakenfold, Dj Dan, Mark Farina, The Scumfrog, Quivver (aka John Graham), KRAMER) 

adamROSS can be found preforming at traditional venues, such as BETA in Denver or Public Works in S.F., underground warehouse events and at any of the great festivals happening globally. His visit to Burning Man years ago would prove to be the most influential event on both his personal life and artist career. 

As an artist Burning Man influenced the sound he plays, known in some circles  as Playa Tech. This genre can be best described by combining elements of Deep House, Tech House, and Melodic Techno with deep undertones. 

The overall love for electronic music is the driving force in adamROSS' life and shows each time he preforms. Dancing, Smiling and the Positive Resonance of the music are all part of the adamROSS experience.
