Still riding the high from Burning Man Decompression 2025 at the Loom in Oakland! Having missed the burn this year, it was extra special for me to join my minty brothers and sisters and help build and host a DeMentha stage (in collaboration with Sound Garden)! Nothing beats getting up on a stage in front of hundreds of like-minded weirdos and seeing a room full of smiling faces dancing and sweating the night away!

The event itself was a total home run. The Loom was a pretty perfect venue, and all the artists and makers and builders and creative people came to do what they do best! So many incredible art pieces, lights and shiny things, big sounds, awesome art cars, and just the perfect blend of creativity, community, and unabashed debauchery! Much love to all the incredible people there, and in particular, to my DeMentha family for giving it their all <3

Thursday early a.m. carried the full spectrum of the playa: the waiting and then the lift of it all finally coming together. It was dark and still, fragile and fleeting, but in that moment everything was in motion. Riche at the helm. 

“Arriving at this moment on the Playa, playing for Robot Heart was the definition of delayed gratification after so much blood, sweat, and tears.

We arrived in 70 mph winds on Saturday, and our plane made the fastest landing the control tower had ever seen. Then we had to postpone the bus twice, and it truly seemed like it wasn’t going to happen this year. But somehow, at the very last moment, they ran into my camp, found me in the dinner line, and asked if I could play that first clear night. It all came together in that imperfect yet perfect playa way, and now it’s a memory I’ll never forget.

After days of storms and chaos, we were all ready to finally let go and dance. We rocked the bus, and I couldn’t stop smiling, surrounded by the joy of it all.

To my Robot Heart family, thank you for welcoming me into yours and trusting me with this moment. The bus is history, the future, and a hallowed place for music.

I couldn’t have done it without my friends, my community, and everyone who helped make it happen. I love you all to the moon and back. Thank you. We did it.

And to everyone watching now, I hope you feel the energy and love we all felt that night from the 🤖❤️.”

Something Minty This Way Comes...

“A little fire grows great with little wind,” Shakespeare once said.
A reminder that even the smallest spark, when met with the right breeze, will always grow into something legendary.

This set is our thank you to all of you. Wild, raw, and with a great spark of we do not take anything seriously - in absolute ABOUT:BLANK manner.

This is the story from four and a half years ago, when the very first event in the DiMansion took place. Our best friends had just moved into this huge house - a house that felt so big, so cold, so untouched, as Aneta said. It was still pandemic times, and clubs had been silent for over a year. Back then we all remembered how to craft our own nights… how to take a cellar, some neon lights, a DJ mixer, and some speakers, and turn it into something raw and alive.

We carried down two room plants from Maciek and two neon lights from Franz. I decorated the room with Nadine’s fabrics. And us as ABOUT:BLANK played the very first DJ set that space had ever heard. It was raw, wild, and unforgettable. 

Since then, we have had countless amazing events, balls, and parties that shaped our lives forever.

And now, four and a half years later, after almost a year’s break for us, we are honored to return once more to the legendary DiMansion for BALLO BIZARRO. We can’t put into words how much it meant to us to come back to this era of art, humans, and raw, beautiful expression.

Thank you to every single soul who co-created this absolutely insane night. Your energy wrapped around us and shot straight into the skies of the universe. Dave and I kept looking at each other saying, “This was our best set ever.” Hahahah.

But it was never just ours.
It was all of us. We are in the literal service of you humans. 
A full co-creation: your outfits or the sudden lack of it, your energy, your craziness, your presence, your screams. Together we created a moment that felt like heaven on earth. We still can’t put into words how much fun we had. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!

We love you endlessly.
This is still only the beginning.
We have no idea where this fire will go, but one thing is clear:
"A little fire grows great with a little wind." So keep dreaming. Keep following your spark. Fasten your fucking seatbelts. Because the funniest part is… we’ve only just started.

"A little fire grows great with little wind" @ BALLO BIZARRO, DiMansion 2025

Yaz is a San Francisco-based DJ who enjoys playing tech house, deep tech, minimal, and techno. He is an active member of the Burning Man community and underground house/techno community in San Francisco.

Yaz has played all over San Francisco at all the major venues, including Public Works, Mighty / The Great Northern, Monarch, Midway, and Halcyon. He was a resident DJ at the venerated Wish Lounge for 5+ years, running his monthly Wayward party right up until the pandemic caused Wish to close. Once it was safe to do so, he has taken Wayward to its new home F8 Nightclub, and has been a resident there since August 2021. 

Yaz has collaborated with many different promoters and labels, and has opened and closed for (or shared billing with) well-known artists including John Digweed, Bob Moses, The Scumfrog, Tommy Four Seven, John Monkman, Technasia, and Marques Wyatt, to name a few.

His love for Burning Man is only rivaled by his love for music. His styles go from deep tech, minimal and techno to indie dance. You can find him on the playa playing for his camp DeMentha, and everywhere else for The Janky Barge, Airpusher, and Icarus. Yaz has also participated in many fundraisers in San Francisco for the aforementioned camps, as well as DISTRIKT, Mayan Warrior, the Salty Jacks, and others.

During the pandemic, when clubs were closed, a group of Burning Man friends started hosting tiny cellar raves: with an iPhone and a UE Boom as their “sound system.” The vibes were amazing, the décor was perfect… but the music setup needed an upgrade.

With Replicah’s background as a singer, composer, and producer, and Dave’s multi-instrumental magic, they instantly clicked, and became the tribe’s favorite DJ couple.
With their video- and gaming roots, they even livestreamed and raved in VR during lockdown.

What followed was a growing community, merging with other tribes and artists to create unforgettable nights filled with art, creativity, and connection.

Their sound moves between tech house, indie dance, playa tech, and techno - mystical, heavy, electrifying, full of badass bass and sexy beats.
Fans describe it as “where rainbow meets fire.”
