Reaching The Shore

Quantum Folk™: Exploring time-bending, layered polyrhythms and modal melodies from folk traditions, then fractaling them with glitch, delay, and generative synths. The genre speaks to parallel timelines: ancient dances coexisting with futuristic pulses.

Le Ciel is the latest piece composed by Christian Smith. Originally composed as a solo piano piece, this piece has been reworked to include a String Quartet. Recorded at The Suite Studios in Havant, this is the first piece of a new 4 track EP soon to be released by Christian in September!
