This is my entry "Rhythmic Shades" for the 184th edition of the KVR One Synth Challenge where all sounds were generated using the AudiblePlanets VST plugin using a mix of free and included effects in Ableton Live 11.
I hope you enjoy it and feel free to offer any comments on how I might improve it if I were to do a remix for a wider release.

Max Graham, a man of many musical talents specially known for blurring the lines of trance, techno and progressive, has once again created his one-of-a-kind installation that transports you to a dark room with intimate vibes. This time around the architect of build, energy manipulator and vibe connoisseur, Max Graham delivers a gem packed 78-minute, 16 tracks compilation that will stimulate your senses. A condensed mix showcasing what the widely popular Open to Close concept is all about. From Guy J’s “Equinox,” a hauntingly rhythmic track enough to lure you in. To Graham’s newest release “One Hundred” (Raw Mix) with a chunky bassline and infused builds, perfect for the peak hours of the journey. To the magical, goosebump inducing, almost orchestra like piece exclusively written for this installment by Tim Penner, “Shadow Light” (Cycles 7 Outro Mix) completes yet another Cycles.

Matt Fax's second studio album 'Progressions' was a standout moment for the French producer who has now firmly established himself as a leading name in progressive house. Featuring a range of exciting collaborators, 'Always You' with American duo LEVV was one of the album's highlight productions.

And now, hot on the heels of releasing his own album 'Trait' on Colorize, we bring you two of Colorize's most dynamic acts in one release, with Sound Quelle putting his spin on Fax's 'Always You'. His remix is not to be missed thanks to sharp production and a driving, transcendent vibe that is now signature to the Russian producer. No stranger to the art of the remix, German producer Jerome Isma-Ae returns to Anjunabeats with an energetic rework of Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base ‘Oceanic’, which featured on Anjunabeats Volume 15 earlier this year. 

A trance and progressive veteran, Jerome topped the trance charts in 2013 with ‘Under My Skin’, produced in collaboration with ilan Bluestone.

Adam Sobiech was introduced to electronic music at an early age through underground radio shows like Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance". His first success came in 2014 with "Memories" (Alter Ego) which garnered support from Trance A-list DJ's Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk and encouraged Adam to continue his musical journey. Subsequent tracks have also received overwhelming support from trance heavy-weights such as Gareth Emery, Above & Beyond and Cosmic Gate. Adam has become a firmly respected member of the trance community with a slew of releases on premium dance labels like Alter Ego, Silk Music, Intonenation Records and Nanostate. With regular appearances DJ'ing in Poland’s premiere nightclubs Adam's profile is surely on the rise.
